Meet Claudio Conde

We were lucky to catch up with Claudio Conde recently and have shared our conversation below.

Claudio, thanks for taking the time to share your lessons with our community today. So, let’s jump right in – one of the most essential skills for unlocking our potential is self-discipline. Where does your self-discipline come from?

My self discipline comes from a combination of personal experiences and the habits I’ve intentionally cultivated over time. Growing up, I faced situations where I had to rely on myself to achieve goals, whether it was balancing school and part time work or learning new skills independently. These experiences taught me the importance of consistency and commitment.

For example, when I started my own clothing brand, I had to manage multiple responsibilities at once designing, production, marketing, and client relations. There were days when it was overwhelming, but I learned to stick to a structured routine, set clear priorities, and hold myself accountable. Over time, this approach became a habit, and I realized that discipline isn’t just about forcing yourself to work; it’s about creating systems and routines that make progress inevitable.

Self discipline, for me, is the bridge between goals and results it’s what keeps me focused even when motivation fluctuates.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m Claudio Conde, a fashion designer and founder of Acconde. I create high quality, stylish pieces that let people express themselves with confidence. What I love most is turning creative ideas into designs that make a statement while focusing on craftsmanship and detail.

Recently, we’ve been expanding our collection with new designs that blend modern fashion with timeless elements. Acconde isn’t just clothing it’s a way to inspire confidence and individuality through style.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

1. Discipline and Consistency Building my brand and managing multiple responsibilities requires staying focused and consistently putting in the work, even when motivation fluctuates. My advice is to create routines and systems that make progress a habit.

2. Creativity and Personal Style Developing a unique style has been central to my work. Not only in designing fashion, but also in helping people discover their own style as a personal stylist. I love inspiring others to express themselves through clothing and feel confident in their choices. For those starting out, I’d suggest exploring different styles, experimenting with looks, and understanding how fashion can reflect personality.

3.Influence and Communication Being able to connect with people and share ideas about fashion has been key. Whether through styling clients, teaching them how to find their preferred style, or inspiring them through social media, communicating effectively about fashion helps others feel empowered. My advice is to practice sharing your vision, listen to your audience, and guide them in ways that make fashion personal and approachable.

For anyone starting their journey, focus on building these skills: stay disciplined, nurture your creativity, and learn how to positively influence others through your style and expertise.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed, I try to take a step back and focus on what truly needs my attention. I find it helpful to break tasks into smaller, manageable steps, which makes it easier to stay organized and reduces stress. To reset my mind, I engage in activities that bring me clarity and calm, such as going to the gym, listening to music, taking a walk, connecting with nature, reading books, or spending time in prayer and connecting with God.

For me, these moments of reflection and self care are essential they allow me to recharge, gain perspective, and approach challenges with renewed energy and focus. My advice to anyone feeling overwhelmed is to acknowledge that it’s normal to feel this way, and it’s important to pause, breathe, and prioritize your well being. Creating structured routines, staying disciplined, connecting with God and nature, reading to broaden your mind, and maintaining organization can make a significant difference in managing stress and achieving your goals.
