We were lucky to catch up with Clayton Kingclay Civ Mcgee recently and have shared our conversation below.

Clayton KingClay CIV, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

i found my purpose through test after test of my own abilities that forced me to understand that my responsibility is to help others. No matter what I had gone through, I always found my way out. And this was inspiring to others. So much so, that people began to ask me for help and advice whenever they were in trouble. At first, I was annoyed with all the requests and people leaning on me, when I myself was barely holding on. But, as always, I found a solution for them and still survived until the next day. However, I was being drained. And that was because of me fighting what I was supposed to be doing- helping others. Once I realized that, my life changed and the rest, is history.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Clayton McGee was born and raised in Broward County, FL, where he’s grown and established multiple businesses including All Season Air Florida LLC and On The Spot Entertainment Group, a record label focusing on education and development of independent artists around the nation. He also does a live show on IG called THE OTS ARTIST REVIEW, which gives free airplay to all independent artists looking for an honest review of their music. His radio show: the OTS RADIO REVIEW highlights emerging talent with exposure to over a million fans of music on SIRIUSXM via Plug Radio out of West Palm Beach, FL. His many talents span from content creation and editing to networking and hosting events, King Clay CIV has legitimately earned his place in the music industry. His current project, ODIN, is a distribution platform geared to actually helping indie artists gain a larger fanbase and getting their music to the ones who matter: the listeners. He also mentors the youth through sports and academics, his HVAC certification program is highly rated amongst his peers. Unmarried, single and without children, Clayton is highly focused on his purpose of helping people and changing the world.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Well, playing sports helped in my leadership and teamwork development. I love to build with ppl and make a dream become a reality. One of the reasons I do what I do now. Going through difficult times developed character and I began to understand what life really was about and understanding this, I started to handle myself a lot better and started making major strides in my self-development. Reading books and studying various points of views regarding religion and politics has broadened my mind and has allowed me to be receptive to others and their differences, and not be so closed minded on things that don’t perfectly align with my traditional views I grew up with.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am always looking to collaborate with likeminded individuals who see each other as collaborators and not competition. There is so much that can be achieved if people stop putting money over the movement. IF we all are trying to get from point A to B, why not do it together? We all have different parts of a car, but are trying to drag it all the way to point B by ourselves. Why not put the pieces together, build a complete car and not only get to point B faster and easier, we could go a lot further as long as we keep pouring back into the tank.

People who think like this are the people I want to network and build with. If you understand the power of collaborative economics, you understand how dynamic that concept is and how far it could actually take us.
