Meet Colton Winger

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Colton Winger. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Colton below.

Hi Colton, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I believe we all have the power to create internal and external worlds, over and over again. My love for shaping and shifting my landscapes within my personal life and my work life is what keeps me motivated and drives my work ethic. I admire being able to look back on the various experiences I’ve had in my career and celebrate my successes and learn from my failures. It’s a gift to be able to wake up everyday and say “This is what I want to do” and do it. I owe it to myself to work as hard as a can on the things I dedicate my time to.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I founded CUNIFORM in 2016 after a decade of working in luxury retail. I set out to create a space where anyone can come engage in our products and services to help them get dressed.

As a child, I have many memories of feeling overwhelmed and frustrated with what to wear and over almost two decades of styling people, I’ve found that most folks still feel the same. The landscape of the retail industry is constantly shifting and we’re being marketed loads of products that are “for us”. It’s a constant struggle to ask yourself “is this actually for me?” and how do I dress my body.

At CUNIFORM, we eliminate the guess work and stylists offer years of experience in helping clients understand what currently works for them, eliminating what doesn’t and identifying what’s missing.

We start with our initial personal styling service, The Wardrobe Audit, where a stylist comes to your home and goes through your entire wardrobe and does just that. They’ll edit any clothing/footwear/accessories that are no longer serving you, help you style what you already own (shop your own closet) and identify your wardrobe needs by creating a personalized Gap Fill list for use on future appointments.

We believe that everyone wears clothes so everyone should have access to help with identifying their personal style and navigating what to wear on a daily basis.

Our favorite part of what we do is how impactful our services are, we constantly receive texts from clients saying how life changing the services are and it feels great to know that someone’s life has been changed by something we can offer them!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that were most impactful for my journey are self awareness/reflection, compassion and perseverance.

My advice for folks who are early in their journey would be to remember that there’s never 1 solution to any problem, or they say “there are many ways to the top of the mountain”. Operating within consciousness and compassion helps being able to build long term relationships no matter what industry you are in.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

As we continue to grow, our stylists are constantly looking for new clients. Whether you need help with an outfit for a special occasion, a complete wardrobe overhaul or help getting dressed during pregnancy, we’d love to hear from you! Getting in touch with one of our stylists is easy, simply head over to our website and book a free consultation to get started.
