Conrad, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Empowering Change: My Journey to Finding Purpose in WB-EMS Training”
As a personal trainer for over 15 years, my journey in the fitness industry has been a quest to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives while continually expanding my knowledge and expertise. What initially drew me to this profession was the desire to help others, coupled with the allure of a career with limitless opportunities for learning and growth.
Throughout my career, I’ve found immense fulfillment in witnessing the transformative power of fitness. There’s something truly remarkable about seeing individuals evolve, both physically and mentally, as they progress on their fitness journey and discover newfound confidence in themselves.
My approach to personal training has always been rooted in meeting clients where they are and guiding them toward their fitness goals. However, it wasn’t until I discovered WB-EMS (Whole Body Electrical Muscle Stimulation) training that I truly felt I had found a method that could revolutionize the way people approach exercise.
WB-EMS training addresses many common barriers to consistent exercise. Its short duration makes it accessible for busy schedules, while its low-impact nature makes it suitable for individuals with mobility issues or injuries. Witnessing the positive impact of WB-EMS firsthand, particularly in terms of body composition changes and increased strength, solidified my passion for this innovative approach to fitness.
One memorable experience that reinforced my belief in WB-EMS occurred when a client initially showed little interest in traditional measurements of progress. However, after just a few sessions, they were astonished to see tangible improvements in various areas of their body. It was a powerful reminder of the effectiveness and efficiency of WB-EMS in achieving results.
Challenges have been a part of my journey, particularly when transitioning from New York City to Los Angeles. Adapting to a new environment tested my resilience, but ultimately strengthened my determination to continue making a difference in the lives of my clients.
Through WB-EMS training, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative effects it can have on my clients’ lives. From increased strength and energy to reduced pain and enhanced quality of life, the impact of this training method is undeniable.
My core belief in giving each client the attention they deserve and meeting them where they are has been the guiding principle throughout my career. Looking ahead, my goal is to make WB-EMS training more widespread and accessible to individuals from all walks of life, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the life-changing benefits of this innovative approach to fitness.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I currently manage Bodybuzz Fitness. We have mobile trainers in Los Angeles and San Diego. We recently acquired a studio in Costa Mesa where we will start offering a new type of WB-EMS training experience.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Adaptability: I pride myself on my ability to adapt to new environments and challenges. Moving from Spain to France to Germany to England and then to New York City, D.C., and finally Los Angeles were significant transitions, but I embraced it with resilience and flexibility.
Empathy: My core belief is centered around giving each client the attention they need and meeting them where they are. I approach my work with empathy, understanding the unique needs and circumstances of each individual, and tailoring my approach accordingly to ensure they feel supported and empowered on their fitness journey.
Innovation: I am passionate about exploring new methods and techniques to enhance my clients’ fitness experience. Embracing WB-EMS training as an innovative approach to fitness has been a game-changer in my practice, allowing me to offer cutting-edge solutions that deliver exceptional results for my clients.
Communication: Effective communication is key to my approach as a personal trainer. I prioritize clear and open communication with my clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and principles of WB-EMS training and feel heard and supported throughout their fitness journey.
Passion: My dedication to the field of personal training and my enthusiasm for WB-EMS training as a transformative tool for fitness and wellness stem from a deep-seated passion for helping others. Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The book that has profoundly influenced my development as a personal trainer is “Finding Your Why” by Simon Sinek. In this insightful work, Sinek emphasizes the importance of identifying our underlying purpose or “why” in everything we do.
One of the most valuable nuggets of wisdom I gleaned from this book is the concept of the Golden Circle, which consists of three concentric circles: What, How, and Why. Sinek argues that while many individuals and organizations focus on the “what” and “how” of their endeavors, it is the “why” that serves as the driving force behind meaningful and lasting success.
Another impactful lesson from “Finding Your Why” is the idea that our “why” serves as our guiding compass, directing our actions and decisions in both personal and professional contexts. By clarifying our purpose and aligning our efforts with it, we can cultivate a sense of fulfillment and authenticity in all aspects of our lives.
Overall, “Finding Your Why” has been instrumental in helping me uncover my purpose as a personal trainer and aligning my work with my deepest motivations. It has reinforced the significance of guiding principles and provided me with invaluable insights into the transformative power of knowing and living our “why.”
