Meet Contagion Media

We were lucky to catch up with Contagion Media recently and have shared our conversation below.

Contagion Media, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Contagion Media Art Agency’s purpose is to make art and artists more important in the world. Contagion Media’s founder and CEO, KBR, developed Contagion Media with the intention of empowering artists so they can focus on creating and spreading compassion throughout their communities.

KBR founded Contagion Media in 2018 while she was attending NAU (Northern Arizona University), studying both Photography and Creative Media and Film. Singing and writing music since age 12, KBR also had experience performing on stage at festivals. Frustrated with the lack of platforms available to multi-talented artists, KBR was inspired to create Contagion Media, a platform for artists of all mediums.

Now, Contagion Media is an art agency specializing in commercial content creation for websites, magazines, and social media. Contagion Media continues to evolve so artists can continue to break artistic boundaries and grow together.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Contagion Media is an Arizona-based Art Agency specializing in commercial content for websites, magazines, and social media. Our team of over 30 artists includes photographers, designers, models, writers, videographers, and more. We are extremely proud on the recent growth of our art & media blog.

Contagion Media’s blog consists of 5 blogs: Artrepreneur, Behind Contagion, Fashion & Beauty, Music, and Visual Arts. The blog features artist interviews, updates on art trends, and advice for artists of all mediums. “I am so proud of the work the team has been accomplishing. The projects we all create together at Contagion are beautiful examples of how working with a team will always be the best way. Collaborating is the only way to grow,” says CEO KBR.

Contagion Media posts new blog posts weekly and features artists from all around the United States; it is also a great resource for artists wanting to transition into learning new techniques or grow their brand. Contagion Media is now accepting blog & magazine submissions, with some paid opportunities!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The artists on Contagion Media’s team are very dedicated to their technique, practicing, and consistency. Continuing to grow and understanding the artist journey is never-ending is incredibly valuable as an artist.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Contagion Media Art Agency is looking to connect with creative companies and artists who are looking to create compelling content and create an impact. We want to work with people and brands that make art and artists more important in the world. If you are interested in connecting with us, check out contagionmedia.net

We are always looking for artists to work with and stories to feature in our blog and magazine! We look forward to connecting with you if Contagion Media’s mission resonates with you.
