We recently connected with Cora Fruster and have shared our conversation below.

Cora, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

My purpose came naturally to me. I am product of a proverbs 31 woman and Titus 2:4-8. My mother trained me and molded me into the woman of God I am today. She taught me the principles of God and how to apply them to my life at young age. I learned how to work and serve others as a child. I learned how to work as unto the lord then. My mother is multi-talented and gifted. Everything she knew how to do she taught me and trained me in it. I learned to help others and give back to the community. I was raise up in church. I develop a servants heart. I started making my own money in middle school. I made money by washing dishes, ironing clothes, cleaning houses, baby sitting and day care. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, business owner, author, an apostle. The principles of God my mother taught me has changed my life. They prepared me for marriage, how raise my children, run a household, be submissive to my husband, business principles, but most of all it taught me not to bring shame to the word of God.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back over my life, my mother training me in the principles of God’s word was the most important part. The priniciples found in God’s word taught how to live life and serve others. This principles taught me how to be a wife, mother, how to run a household, be submissive, run a business. It helped me produce a quality of life that I am proud of and to leave a spiritual legacy to children and grandchildren as well. A lot children are not being trained by their mothers or their fathers but they are being left to their own devices. Therefore many young don’t know of understand what their purpose is or what they want or called to do in life. It’s important we as adults prepare our children for the future and provide good quality skills, training and sound advice found in the word of God. These principles will teach our children and others how live a sound and successful life, It does mean they will not have problems but it means they were given to tools needed help them navigate through it. Parents it is important to lay a basic foundation in the lifes of our children . Helping them to develop core values are necessary. Tv, social media, video games and etc is raising and dictating the lives our children and even some adults. Some type of order and structure has to be set in place in order them or anyone that matter to be productive. These priniciples teach basic life skills likes how to work and serve others. It’s prepares you in life and business. If you were never taught these principles it’s never too late to learn them. They are life-changing when applied correctly.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

My Mother pointed me Jesus and my life has never been the same. Doris Johnson was the person who help me and taught when I was young. I still live by those life lessons today. My mother taught me how to overcome challenges through the word of God. She was my example. I watched her read, study and apply the word of God to her life. I watched her consistency, her obedience, submissiveness and love that she had for God. I seen her ups and downs. Her struggles where real. I watched her prayer life. I watch her grow and change. I saw how prayer and implenting the word of God in her life gave her the quality of life she wanted. I developed the essential skills, qualities and the knowledge to be successful for her. My mother is a Proverbs 31 woman and Titus 2:4-8 woman. She gave me the tools needed to be successful and follow in her footsteps and I am passing that natural and spiritual legacy on to my children, grandchild and anyone else who desires it.
