Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Corey Ceccarelli . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Corey , thank you so much for making time for us. We’ve always admired your ability to take risks and so maybe we can kick things off with a discussion around how you developed your ability to take and bear risk?
My development on taking risks is associated with my desire to achieve various goals with a drive and passion that feeds from my intuition. I find it rewarding & exhilarating tasting the various avenues of life.
Developing this takes time, it takes determination and an understanding that any risk is quite daunting and intimidating.
I elect to always persevere, to remain progressive, never subsiding from the realization that when risks are taken, rewards and results are wildly gratifying and enriching. It is enlightening to meditate and reflect on previous accomplishments that were achieved through risks taken.
Specifically speaking, taking a wonderfully grand risk in closing down my rehabilitation business to pursue visual arts as a full time profession. This began during the COVID lockdown, two years after which I found myself in another country, Berlin Germany, on a 3 month artist residency that shaped my life on a completely different trajectory, One that I am forever thankful for. Training myself in a multi disciplinary realm with art, endlessly pushing the boundaries in chosen mediums while mixing the styles and themes so as not to stick to the route of conformity.
To believe in oneself is vital to the intrinsic progression of life. While I take “risks” in many areas of my personal, creative & business life, I am relatively patient with the expectations of my desired results. These results are only ever achieved through great amounts of failure. I have had my share in the pursuit of ambitious goals.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Working as an International Mixed Media Visual Artist I have had the privilege in traveling the World and experiencing the adventures of an exciting & diverse lifestyle. Cherishing these experiences and sharing them with loving family members and close friends.
My recent exhibitions in Berlin were prime examples of utilizing my chosen various medians to exemplify the profoundness of a multi discipline way of creating works of art (Titled; SexDes ®TM) cross sectioned science (Quantum Physics), art and nature, with the narrative of sexual desire tying these elements together. The result achieved the kind of depth and process that I have come to enjoy.
Working towards my next solo art exhibition in the UK is an exhilarating process that quickly begins with the preliminary stages of research, development and considerable note taking. The title of the show is yet to be finalized and for the moment I have named it “The 2nd Instalment of; Egos & Icons”.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Intuition has been a major driving force to my journey as an Artist, through change, challenging myself, great experimentation & taking risks. Listening to my instincts has been a blessing and a powerful resource in major accomplishments and experiences alike.
I find that slowing things down, calming the mind, allows for intuition to come through on an exponentially more powerful level.
The more you practise this the easier it becomes. It is equal to note that uncomfortable and frightening changes in life often bring some of the greatest joys and accomplishments.
I have always experimented in the realm of art, utilizing various mediums and methods to create art and this is especially apparent at the beginning stages of development. Respecting the avenue of trying new things, to constantly push myself and my imagination without hesitation nor worry as to wether it’ll be accepted in the eyes of the mainstream World. I love to change the way I create art, and because of this I never place myself in the category of “this sells so I’ll continue with what works”.
When using various mediums and modalities in the creation process it’s often that failed attempts occur to make the ultimate painting, sculpture, short artistic film or installation art piece.
Health and wellness has been another consistent element in my life, since taking my first steps, and from a source of accumulated energies, it has driven me to positive achievements in other aspects of my life. Reading is a vital component to my mental training through various materials. Allowing the mind to explore other avenues and allow another way for my soul to be stimulated and the imagination to soar.
Maintaining physical & mental daily workouts & being consciouses of what I eat and where my food source derives from is quite meaningful t o myself. To maintain this level of daily energy is to regulate ones daily sleeping patterns.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
To progress is to learn and collaborate with others. Sharing ideas and working with others is simply enthralling in my experience and an act of artistic cohesion for the betterment of our society. I feel there is endless knowledge to be passed around and the greatest achievers are well aware of this.
I am forever interested in continuous collaborations with quantum physicists, theatrical directors, philanthropists, political activists, musicians, multi discipline engineers, spiritual leaders, wildlife biologists, and anyone who is passionate and a leader in human sexuality. This list is by no means limited to the individuals or groups that I wish to collaborate with.
