Meet corey hubbard

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Corey Hubbard. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Corey below.

Corey, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
i think we’re all as humans are still searching for our purpose, but i just gravitated naturally towards music, it happened without any extenuating work towards it

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
i am a 25 year old artist from dallas texas, i record, mix and master my music. the best thing about what i do is seeing the look on peoples faces when i make something that resonates with them on a deeper level, even when it’s a good feeling as long as i impacted the listener, in my eyes i did what i was sat out by God to do

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. never take no for an answer, i know it sounds cliche but you have to look at the bigger picture and realize how many people are on this earth and if can get 1 person to enjoy what you bring to the table, then you can get millions of people

2. it’s okay to be your own biggest critic but it’s also okay to be your own biggest fan, find a medium between those 2 and it’ll help you out in the long run, don’t think about stuff too hard.

3. stay consistent & always have your mind set on what you want to do. whatever you believe 100% you can achieve it if you try it with everything you have to give. if you fail after you tried your best then atleast you can say you gave it your all.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
definitely has to be patience. i feel as if you can’t really do anything successful without having some type of patience. it took me a long time to learn and practice it but now life just feels so much more smoother for me, i think that can go for any job/any field that you work in
