Cory , thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?

Walking into a room with confidence has always been my foundation. I’ve learned that being truly effective often means being more of a listener than a talker. Observing, understanding others, and communicating thoughtfully allows me to make a strong first impression without having to say much. It demands respect and establishes a presence that others are drawn to. I like to keep an air of mystery as well—it’s a way of inviting curiosity while also maintaining control over how I’m perceived. In spaces where I may be the only one who looks like me, I’ve found that focusing on authenticity, composure, and intentional communication really sets me apart. It’s about owning my uniqueness and using it to leave a lasting impact.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My work centers around creating aesthetically pleasing, luxury lifestyle content that captures the beauty in every detail. I’m passionate about bringing a vision to life and have a natural eye for aesthetics that makes my content both captivating and polished. For me, it’s all about finding the elegance in simplicity and telling a story through imagery that resonates with my audience.

I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with some incredible brands, each one challenging me to elevate my creativity and push boundaries in new ways. From exclusive events to high-end product features, I aim to create content that leaves a lasting impression and reflects the sophistication and quality of the brands I represent. I love connecting people with the luxury lifestyle in a way that’s both aspirational and approachable, and I’m always looking for new opportunities to expand this vision.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are confidence in my craft, consistency, and adaptability. First, having confidence in your work is essential—it’s what allows you to stand by your vision and present it boldly. When you believe in what you’re creating, others are more likely to believe in it too.

Consistency is also key. It’s easy to start with excitement, but showing up consistently over time is what builds trust and keeps your audience engaged. It also gives you the opportunity to grow and refine your style.

Finally, adaptability has been crucial. Trends change, platforms evolve, and being able to pivot and keep your work fresh helps you stay relevant and maintain an edge.

For anyone starting out, I’d say build confidence by truly knowing your craft, keep showing up even when it’s challenging, and stay open to change. Each of these qualities will help you build a strong foundation for success.
