Hi Craig, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

My unwavering passion for design and its transformative power to solve problems has been the driving force behind my career. Design, in its broadest sense, has the potential to propel humanity forward, bridging connections in ways as ​s​mall as a postage stamp ​a​nd impactful on a global scale.

Through enduring and collaborative partnerships with clients, I’ve had the privilege to address challenges and create remarkable experiences that resonate across diverse cultures and customer touchpoints worldwide.

These meaningful collaborations have not only produced ​f​antatstic outcomes but have also been a journey of personal growth—building my confidence and empowering me with a deep sense of purpose and self-belief.

I specialize in uncovering insights and opportunities to solve business and design challenges, crafting compelling brand solutions daily.

With over 35 years of experience across global design icons—Target, Landor, Rockwell Group, and Gensler—I bring a fresh perspective to every brand challenge, combining creativity and strategy to drive client success.

My work, recognized regionally, nationally, and internationally, builds desire, relevance, and trust, fostering loyalty and choice. Today, my greatest purpose is helping passionate people achieve their ambitions.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Curiosity
Every day is a new opportunity to learn and grow. My work fuels a lifelong journey of discovery and exploration.

Dedication to Craft
Excellence isn’t accidental—it’s intentional. Great work emerges when design-led clients and relentless creativity come together.

Optimism
Each day brings new possibilities. Supporting teams and clients in achieving their goals is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Work hard, but don’t forget to have fun. Visual and verbal wit spark joy, build connections, and make the journey memorable.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

​To avoid feeling overwhelmed, I thrive on organization and clarity. Whether it’s embracing cutting-edge technologies or relying on the simplicity of post-it notes, I find the tools that work best to keep projects on track. For me, owning the design process—from detailed proposals to precise timelines—isn’t just about structure; it’s about creating alignment, setting clear expectations, and ensuring every deliverable has its moment to shine.
