Meet Crystal Amon

We were lucky to catch up with Crystal Amon recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Crystal , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I found my purpose the moment I realized that what I do naturally — encouraging, creating, and uplifting others — wasn’t just a talent. It was a calling.
God used my experiences, my healing, and my voice to guide me into the work I do now. Writing devotionals, inspiring others, and building platforms of hope didn’t happen by accident. It happened because purpose was already inside me.
All I had to do was listen, obey, and step into it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

, I’m Crystal Amon — a woman of faith, a creator at heart, and the voice behind Princess Crystal Says. I’m passionate about encouraging others through words that heal, uplift, and remind people of who they are in God. Writing devotionals, creating inspirational content, and sharing messages of hope isn’t just something I do — it’s part of who I am.

My journey has been shaped by growth, grace, and the desire to help others feel seen and strengthened. Whether I’m speaking to children who need encouragement, women searching for purpose, or families looking for spiritual guidance, my goal is always the same: to inspire, to comfort, and to point every heart back to God.

I believe in purpose, identity, and the power of a loving word. Through my websites, books, and devotionals, I pour out what God pours into me — with honesty, compassion, and joy.

This is my calling.
This is my ministry.
This is me — Crystal Amon.

I have just created a bookshelf that has over 200 e-books on it. Princesscrystalsaysbookshelf.com.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

When I look back on my journey — the growth, the healing, the writing, the building, and the becoming — I can clearly see three qualities that shaped everything I am doing today. These weren’t things I mastered overnight; they were developed through faith, experience, and obedience. But they were absolutely essential.

1. Consistency

Consistency didn’t always feel glamorous, but it changed everything.
Showing up again and again — even on days when I didn’t feel inspired or confident — built discipline, clarity, and momentum. It taught me that purpose grows when you nurture it daily, not when you wait for the perfect moment.

Advice:
Start small, but start consistently.
Write something every day.
Pray every day.
Work on your craft every day — even if it’s just 10 minutes.
Consistency turns gifts into impact.

2. Compassion

Compassion is at the heart of everything I create.
My ability to feel deeply, connect with others, and understand their struggles became one of my greatest strengths. It allowed me to write devotionals that touch hearts and messages that meet people exactly where they are.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

My Greatest Area of Growth
The area where I’ve grown the most is discipline in my craft and faith in my voice. Early on, I had ideas and passion, but I struggled with consistency and self-doubt. Over time, I learned that showing up daily — writing, reflecting, and sharing — was the key to growth. I also learned to trust my unique perspective and the message God placed in my heart. That combination of persistent effort and belief in my calling transformed my writing from a hobby into a purposeful journey.

Advice for Aspiring Authors
1. Start small, start now. Don’t wait for the “perfect idea” or “perfect moment.” Write what you can, even if it’s messy.
2. Show up daily. Consistency compounds. Even 10 minutes a day adds up to something incredible over time.
3. Trust your voice. Your story, your perspective, your message matters. Don’t compare yourself to others.
4. Be patient with growth. Writing, like faith, is a journey. Keep learning, keep growing, and don’t rush the process.

Remember, every author starts somewhere. The key is to keep writing, keep believing, and keep moving forward — that’s how your impact will unfold.
