Crystan, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from quite a few areas:
Upbringing and Family Values: My work ethic begun at home, where my parents and other family members served as examples. I learned the value of commitment, discipline, and tenacity by watching how my parents approached their work.
Education and Schooling: Work ethic is significantly shaped by formal schooling. In order to inculcate a sense of responsibility and discipline within myself, schools placed a strong emphasis on the value of hard work, time management, and goal-setting.
Personal Goals and Ambitions: I am ambitious and have defined goals frequently that cultivate a strong work ethic to achieve my goals. Having a sense of purpose can motivate a strong work ethic, whether it’s striving for personal development, financial achievement, or making a positive effect.
Intrinsic Motivation: I have a genuine inherent drive and passion for what I do. My work gives me so much meaning and satisfaction, which fosters a strong work ethic that is motivated by my own excitement and happiness.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a freelance Virtual Executive Assistant! I offer sensational virtual assistant services for businesses, big or small. My goal is to manage the day-to-day tasks of many business owners, so they’ll have more free time and as a result, they’ll be able to work on the things that make a bigger difference within your business. DELEGATE is key! Essentially, they’ll feel the benefits not only across your working life, but your personal life too!
All in all, the most exciting part of my career is being able to work with a variety of different businesses! I LOVE what I do and that makes it 100 times better to wake up to a passion and NOT a job. I would not have ever imagined that I would be an entrepreneur but I AM HERE and I am loving it!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Knowledge Acquisition: It’s important to be able to gather and combine knowledge from different fields. A broad knowledge base facilitates a deeper comprehension of various subjects, allowing for more informed discussions, and improves problem-solving skills.
Adaptability: The ability to adapt to new situations, challenges, and information is crucial in navigating through life’s uncertainties. Being adaptable allows you to adjust your mindset, strategies, and approaches as needed, enabling you to overcome obstacles and embrace change more effectively.
Lifelong Learning: A growth mindset and a commitment to lifelong learning can both have a significant positive impact on one’s personal development. Embracing curiosity and seeking information across a range of topics broadens your intellectual horizons, improves your ability to solve problems, and creates new chances for both your personal and professional development.

4. Make A Positive Impact: Engaging in charitable work or dedicating time to causes that matter deeply, such as volunteering for a local organization or supporting initiatives aimed at making the world a better place.
