We were lucky to catch up with Cyrus Apeles recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Cyrus , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

For me I get my work ethic from my parents. Seeing them as I was growing up working multiple jobs to always keep a roof over our head and food on the table. Even if at a young age they decided to devoice the still made things work for the best for us. Seeing how hard they worked and struggled for us really made me appreciate everything that much more. And my dad would always say I needed to make sure I was better everyday and I was the only one I needed to compete with prove something for

Aloha I’m Cyrus apeles
And I am a clouting brand owner
For ALWAYS APPAREL
Our motto is “do good be better”
We’re and apparel brand based out Hawaii. We’re really involved in the skate community our goal is to give back to as much people we can and help all those in need. I grew up in ewa beach and came from very humble beginnings
And wanted to make the most out of my life and I found a outlet to put all my skills and creativity to use

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

My advice is to take action and go out and do it. Set a goal and take it step by step and just keep pushing thru
Nothing worth having will ever come easy in life.
Always stay creative and never not do anything a little is better than nothing.
Learn all you can no matter what it is
Knowledge is key to success
You never lose it’s always a lesson

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

For me it was they’re love and my dad being my number one support and believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself, no matter how much jobs the worked or how stressful life was the always showed up for me whenever I needed them
I know that might not be the situation for all but find the right people the good people and keep them close to you in life they’ll be your strongest support system
