Meet Daisy Cuellar

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Daisy Cuellar. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Daisy , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I appreciate Bold journey for reaching out and showing interest in getting to know me.

When it comes to work ethic, it’s ingrained in me and my siblings due to the tireless work ethic of our parents. We didn’t have everything handed to us on a silver platter or spoon-fed with a silver spoon.

Our parents engaged in demanding physical labor, such as picking and cleaning, and while they made it look easy, as I grew older, I came to understand the dedication behind it and learned to appreciate the value of hard-earned money. They instilled in us the principle that we must work for what we want and not rely on handouts. They taught us that we can achieve our desires as long as we put in the effort.

Now, my sisters and I work diligently without complaint because we’ve seen how hard work can provide the luxuries we aim for—such as travel, transportation, and the ability to treat ourselves. Our parents have shown us that when you want something, you must work for it, and that’s something no one can take away from you.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My primary focus is to find joy in every aspect of my life.

When I run my booth at events, my main goal is to relish every moment while also making money. I take pleasure in giving back to my nieces, nephews, and loved ones. My aspiration is to work with a focus on happiness and good health. I don’t see myself in competition with anyone but rather with my own potential. I want to achieve all that I know I’m capable of.

My aim is to be happy and earn money to pursue all the things I love.

In business, my objectives are growth and learning. I believe that the more you learn, the more you earn.

Working in the booth industry is enjoyable. I encounter amazing people from whom I feel blessed to learn. The feedback I receive and the reputation I build are immensely rewarding. One of my aspirations is to offer my services to A-listers, particularly because I am based in Atlanta, a city often referred to as the next Beverly Hills.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The qualities and skills that have had the most impact on me are the ability to stand my ground and not feel pressured to go to extremes for things beyond my control. Previously, I felt the need to please everyone and had to learn to step back and take a breather. It’s okay when circumstances don’t unfold as planned. I’ve come to understand that it’s impossible to always be flawless—I’m not infallible. While I do empathize with clients and prioritize when possible, I’m working on not being too hard on myself when things don’t go as expected. It’s okay. I’m only human.

I always try to view challenges as opportunities for improvement, avoiding the perception of any outcome as a failure. If life and work were perfect, they would be uninteresting.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
When I feel like I can’t handle everything, I ask my close friends and family for help. Don’t allow pride to stop you from seeking support!
