Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Daisy Fuentes. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Daisy, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My work ethic comes straight from survival mode. I was a young mom, scrubbing toilets and even doing Uber Eats just to make ends meet. I didn’t have a safety net , quitting wasn’t an option. That kind of grind builds a hunger in you to create more than just a paycheck.
For me, that hunger turned into Social Empire Marketing. I didn’t just want to survive anymore; I wanted to build something that gave me freedom and helped other entrepreneurs do the same.
Now, the work ethic that came from survival fuels the passion behind SEM: helping business owners show up with clarity, get seen, and finally get paid like the experts they already are.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I help beauty entrepreneurs make more money by giving them their time back with done-for-you strategy and content creation. Most of the clients I work with are small business owners or beauty pros who are ready to scale, but they’re overwhelmed with trying to do everything themselves.
With Social Empire Marketing, we take content completely off their plate, from the strategy to the filming, editing, and delivery. And I’m not just focused on making things look pretty, every piece of content we create is strategy-driven, built around their dream clients, and designed to convert into sales, not just views or likes.
What makes SEM different is that we don’t stop at content. We also help beauty entrepreneurs expand into the digital product space , creating their offer suites, building out additional income streams, and marketing them effectively. I want my clients to not just post consistently, but to leverage digital marketing so they can scale, diversify, and build real freedom.
Right now, I’m especially passionate about our VIP Content Days and Social Media Management packages, because that’s where my team and I get to handle everything end-to-end. But just as exciting is watching my clients realize they can create new streams of income online and stop trading hours for dollars.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, the three things that shaped me the most were:
1. Resilience.
I started Social Empire Marketing in survival mode, so giving up wasn’t an option. The resilience I built as a young mom working multiple jobs is the same resilience I bring into business. My advice: don’t avoid hard seasons ,let them sharpen you. Entrepreneurship will test you, but if you keep showing up, the results compound.
2. Strategy over hustle.
At first, I thought working harder was the answer. But the real shift came when I learned to build strategy , understanding target audiences, client psychology, and content that converts. My advice: don’t just post to post. Study marketing, learn your dream client inside and out, and let your content work as your digital sales rep.
3. Systems & delegation.
I realized quickly that I couldn’t scale SEM by doing everything myself. Learning CRMs, automation, and building a team was game-changing. My advice: start simple , automate one part of your client journey, outsource one task, and build from there. It frees up your energy for the big-picture growth moves.
At the end of the day, business isn’t just about being “talented” at your craft ,it’s about building the habits, strategy, and systems that keep you moving forward even when it’s hard.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely , collaboration has been one of the biggest ways I’ve grown Social Empire Marketing. I love working with other creatives, especially in the beauty and entrepreneur space, photographers, videographers, event hosts, educators, and even brands that serve beauty professionals.
The best collaborations are ones where we share the same goal: helping entrepreneurs show up with confidence, clarity, and credibility. If you’re someone who’s passionate about elevating small business owners and creating content that actually drives results, I’d love to connect.
