Meet Dallas Amsden

We recently connected with Dallas Amsden and have shared our conversation below.

Dallas, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I developed my confidence and self-esteem over more than 30 years of experience performing, speaking, and connecting with audiences. Starting as a performer and comedian, I learned early on how to engage people through authentic communication and humor. Every stage, every interaction, helped me build not just skills, but self-assurance. As I grew into a communication expert and keynote speaker, I realized that confidence isn’t about being the loudest in the room, it’s about being the most authentic version of yourself. That mindset shift, what I now call the ‘MindSHIFT’, transformed my approach to leadership, influence, and self-worth. And now, it’s what I help others discover: their FUTURE YOU, rooted in real confidence and authentic connection.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

The future is looking bold, bright, and just a little bit caffeinated. First up, The Dallas Daily Show is gaining momentum, think of it as your daily dose of wit, wisdom, and whatever else I feel like serving (with a side of midwest charm, of course). Then there’s my brand-new weekly Bible study for entrepreneurs, because business strategy is great, but Kingdom strategy? That’s where the real power is. And for those ready to level up, I’m now offering 1:1 coaching for entrepreneurs who want to grow, lead, and build something that actually matters. I’m here for the bold ones, the faith-filled, purpose-driven change-makers. Let’s just say… we’re not playing small anymore

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

It is all about growth, I have have grown exponentially as a leader, coach, husband, father. Being aware of who the future you is, helps to lead you to where you want to be. Growth, Awareness, and Learning are three areas that have been most impactful. My biggest piece of advice is to start. Stop talking about trying things and make the decision to do the things.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
