Meet Damond Blue

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Damond Blue. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Damond below.

Hi Damond , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience comes from I believe in God, I know that certain challenges and hurdles are spiritually in line with my destiny. Also my hometown gives me my grit in resilience, knowing I have to keep going to get what I want having a dream having a purpose that only belongs to me nobody’s gonna believe or push as much as I believe and push

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

When it comes to Damond Blue I am a creator. I’m a hip-hop, songwriter, rapper, singer, serial entrepreneur. I come up with new ideas and executing them such as food trucks, real estate my sneakerstore that’s in the works I’m just multifaceted. I’m the founder of a nonprofit youth organization called “Beats, not bullets” based in Baltimore, Maryland
Beats not Bullets is a youth organization/after school program that focuses on the youth and allowing them to explore their talents through music and entertainment. I believe the creator created the creators to create so that’s my mission in life whether it’s music Fashion nonprofit I’ll just give it back to my community

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back the three qualities and skills that I’ve learned to be most impactful is financial literacy. I’ve learned how to use money as a tool to create passive income producing assets to set up generational wealth not only for myself with for generations to come. I’ve also learned the ability to have patience, patience is a virtue and sometimes God set you on the sideline so you could be in a safety zone away from all the BS that’s happening during that time. I appreciate those times also learn the value of people everybody can go success in very narrow pathway, some people will see your journey some people won’t you have to learn to accept that and move on, and not allow , anything that does not go along with your plan to infiltrate with your building I’ve also learned these times days that preparation plus opportunity. It was success you want to prepare for your opportunity so you can meet that success. Some people would like to watch your journey while some people want to be a part of your journey my wife for people in their career, have a great relationship with God, build a team who believes in you up or down who sees your vision resilience. You have to be resilient and whatever you do, don’t let no one who has it done what you wanna do or been where you want to dictate your level of success only you know where you wanna be only you know how to get there

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

God almighty truly has giving me guidance during this building process. overcoming challenges with patience, also my Fiancé has the ability to pour into me, has allowed me to take so many chances and risk that I probably wouldn’t go for because I have a family, that pushes me to chase my dream and never forget where I came from my second is my mother Linda, she’s amazing a true warrior. She raised six children on her own and taught me the importance of hard work and dedication and doing things in an independent way hence to why I started my company, Blue global enterprise LLC to establish independence Is usually the women in my family that motivated me the most. I’m so appreciative when it comes to them shout out to my daughter, Logan, my sister, Quanna my sister, Nia and Danesha, Sha Sha I love y’all
