Meet Dana Grant

We recently connected with Dana Grant and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Dana, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience comes from facing life head-on and refusing to let circumstances define me. Years of high-stakes work as a record-breaking lobbyist, combined with my personal journey of transformation, taught me that strength isn’t about never falling: it’s about getting up, learning, and rising stronger each time.

I also draw resilience from my spiritual alignment and connection to universal principles. Knowing there’s a bigger plan and that challenges are part of the growth process helps me stay grounded, focused, and unstoppable no matter what comes my way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a Global Intuitive Thought Leader, Speaker, and Author, and my work centers on helping people reclaim their power, heal from past trauma, and build lives aligned with their highest purpose. What excites me most is witnessing transformation in real time seeing someone go from feeling stuck or playing small to stepping fully into their confidence, clarity, and authenticity. That moment, when someone reconnects with their truth and their power, is why I do what I do.

Through my podcast, The Dana Grant Show, and my programs, I combine emotional intelligence, spiritual principles, and practical strategies to help people thrive personally and professionally. My brand is all about raw honesty, empowerment, and heart-driven growth helping people break free from limiting beliefs and step boldly into who they were meant to be.

On the horizon, I’m excited about the continued expansion of my coaching programs, as well as the impact of my latest book, The Truth Within The Lie, which serves as a wake-up call for anyone ready to burn old narratives, align with their truth, and command the life they were born to live. Everything I’m doing is about igniting transformation and helping people rise into their full potential.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are:

Resilience – The ability to face challenges head-on, learn from setbacks, and keep moving forward. Life will always throw curveballs, and resilience is what allows you to rise stronger each time.

Self-Awareness and Emotional Intelligence – Understanding yourself, your patterns, and how you show up in relationships and business has been crucial. It’s the foundation for making empowered decisions and creating authentic connections.

Courage to Step Into Your Truth – Whether it was leaving a record-breaking lobbying career or starting a heart-driven business, having the courage to follow what felt aligned rather than just safe was a game-changer.

For those early in their journey, my advice is:

Build resilience by leaning into challenges rather than avoiding them. Every difficulty is an opportunity to grow stronger.

Invest in self-awareness: reflect, journal, seek feedback, or work with mentors or coaches who can help you see blind spots and uncover your potential.

Practice courage in small ways every day. Aligning with your truth is a muscle that strengthens the more you use it.

Ultimately, your journey will always require boldness, reflection, and persistence but cultivating these qualities will help you navigate it with clarity and purpose.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed, the first thing I do is pause and reconnect with myself. I step back, breathe deeply, and give myself space to identify what’s really happening, separating what I can control from what I cannot.

I also use a combination of prioritization and alignment: I focus on the tasks that matter most and let go of anything that doesn’t serve my purpose or energy. Movement, meditation, and journaling are also tools I rely on to reset my mind and body.

My advice for anyone feeling overwhelmed is simple: pause, breathe, and reconnect with your inner truth. Clarity always comes when you create space to listen to yourself rather than reacting to the noise around you.
