We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dani Holman a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Dani, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Self love, self worth, confidence, all of those themes were very absent from my life for most of it. When I was at my lowest, single mom of 3, widow, recently betrayed by someone I considered to be the closest person on earth to me. I knew that I had to find a way to get myself off of the floor. I started a self worth journey and I worked at it every day of my life. When I was called to create online content I was terrified. I never wanted to put myself out there to be ridiculed or bullied like I had been as a child. In the end forcing myself out of my comfort zone and facing that fear head on has been the most rewarding thing I have ever done. During my self love and confidence journey I learned a few things that truly helped me. 1. Rejection is protection 2. People are removed from your life when you are having a glow up , when your vibe is so high it no longer matches theirs. 3. Authenticity is the sexiest, and most empowering energy we can ever be in! Being your authentic self also empowers everyone else around you to do the same! Being unapologetically you and not caring what others say, in my opinion, is the best and fastest way to achieve to self confidence!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m That Witch Dani of Babe Cave Coven— psychic medium, reiki master teacher and energy healer, and creator of a brand that sits somewhere between a spiritual awakening and a rock concert. What I do is help people through their healing and spiritual journey. Whether that’s through tarot, energy work, spell kits, or the words I write, it all comes back to authenticity and soul evolution — just with a little more humor and attitude than your average “love and light” shop.
What’s special about my work is that it’s real. I don’t sugarcoat the spiritual path — it’s messy, raw, and beautiful. I’ve lived it. I built my business out of the ashes of my own dark night of the soul, and I’ve made it my mission to turn that pain into purpose — to show others how valid and powerful their authentic voice is.
Right now, I’m expanding my world a bit — releasing my Coven Tarot Deck, a Tarot Spreads Book, and a few other tools designed for real people doing real inner work. I’ll be back on the road at major vendor events, connecting with the community face-to-face, and working on my biggest project yet — “Spiritual AF,” a book that’s part memoir, part guide, and all truth. I’m also hoping to launch a retreat soon!
My brand isn’t about being perfect or enlightened. It’s about the journey of healing and awakening. It’s about being brave enough to face your own shadows and find your authenticity and souls purpose, and we do it with humor, heart, a rebellious attitude and a little witchcraft.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1. The most important step is to have a very clear vision of what you want to create. What is the knowledge or skill you posses that others need? What is that big passion you have always had? That’s your souls purpose.
2. Don’t be afraid to take risks! If you believe in yourself and the business you’re creating it’s worth a little risk!
3. The power of collaboration! Collaborate with fellow entrepreneurs as often as you can!
Create in silence, and never let other people’s opinions stop you or influence you. Always follow your heart, no one knows your vision better than you do!

Do you think it’s better to go all in on our strengths or to try to be more well-rounded by investing effort on improving areas you aren’t as strong in?
The question itself is part of most of our problems. We get in our own way, and make all of our decisions from the head instead of the heart. The secret is to follow your passion. You will be successful if you are doing what you love, and offering something others need. They need it because they don’t posses that skill, but you do! We don’t have to be masters of all trades. I don’t do my own accounting, I’m a train wreck with numbers! I am however a great spiritual counselor and psychic. I collaborate with others often who possess skills I am not as gifted with. Find your passion, that is your niche. Don’t try to do too many things at once, they either don’t get completed or they end up not being your best work. Listen to your heart and quiet the mind for once, you’ll thank me!
