Meet Dani Margeaux

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Dani Margeaux. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Dani below.

Dani, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

It was a long journey—one that took a lot of searching, trying new things, leading with my heart, and bringing curiosity to every experience. Since I was a kid, I always felt like there was something bigger out there. I would look up at the sky, watch the stars, and just know that there was more to life than what was presented in front of me.

I followed the normalized path: going to high school, getting into a good college (UC Irvine), finding a job after graduation, traveling to 20 countries before the age of 30, and even buying a house at 27. On the outside, I had built a rich and full life—but something was still missing.
I went on a search for that “more,” the thing that would bring true fulfillment and fill the hole in my heart. I thought perhaps a new career was my purpose, so I kept searching—four jobs in four years—and still, nothing could fill that emptiness. Finally, I went to see a medium who told me I had power in my hands and that I should learn Reiki.

That moment opened the next doorway: learning the Akashic Records—the records of all souls that have ever existed, past, present, and future—a cosmic library of universal wisdom. That step led me to giving readings, leaving my 9-5, and pursuing the gift that had given me the ultimate permission slip to freedom.

Now, teaching others to access the Akashic Records and guiding them as a spiritual business owner, I’ve found fulfillment and freedom beyond anything I once thought possible. I help others connect so they, too, can discover their purpose through their soul’s blueprint.
Perseverance—and a constant curiosity for the universal breadcrumbs placed before me—led me to my purpose. Each breadcrumb carried the exact experience I needed to build the foundation for living as my most embodied self.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

My work was born from my own healing journey. For years, I followed the path I thought I was supposed to—overachieving, people-pleasing, climbing ladders, chasing security. On the outside, I had created what looked like a full and successful life. Yet deep down, I felt disconnected. At twenty-three, a car accident became the catalyst that unraveled everything I thought I knew. What followed were seven years of chronic back pain and a deeper spiritual awakening I couldn’t have anticipated.

The turning point came when an energy chiropractor helped me see that my body wasn’t broken—it was speaking. It carried unprocessed trauma, emotional wounds, and energetic imprints I had long ignored. That realization cracked me open to a new way of healing, one that honored the body, mind, and soul as an integrated whole. From there I explored Reiki, the Akashic Records, energy work, and other modalities, and began rewriting the story I had inherited about success, survival, and self-worth.

In 2023, I consciously reprogrammed my subconscious patterns and began anchoring into values that felt true to my soul: authenticity, compassion, vulnerability, and connection. I realized my purpose wasn’t to climb a societal ladder—it was to guide others back into remembrance, to help them awaken to the truth that they are already whole and divine.

That realization became the foundation of my business, Dani Margeaux LLC. It’s a sacred space where healing meets empowerment. Today I teach Reiki, mentor students in the Akashic Records, and support clients through 1:1 sessions, group programs, and masterclasses. I don’t believe in fixing—I believe in remembering. My role is to walk alongside people as they reconnect with their soul’s blueprint, discover their purpose, and step into alignment with their truth.

What feels most exciting to me right now is watching this work ripple out through my students. In the past year I’ve had the honor of teaching and certifying dozens of Reiki and Akashic Records practitioners, many of whom are now serving clients themselves. This fall, I’m expanding with Divine Deepening (Level 2 Akashic Records training) and a new three-month group container called Archangelic Ascension, which is designed to help people deepen their angelic connection and spiritual gifts. Alongside my teaching, I also host the Magic Exists podcast and share weekly Akashic Records forecasts on YouTube and Instagram, creating accessible entry points for people curious about this path.

Ultimately, my brand is about more than healing—it’s about liberation. It’s about helping people remember who they truly are, release what no longer serves, and claim the freedom and fulfillment that is already available to them.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have been most impactful on my journey are trust, vulnerability, and curiosity.

First, trusting myself above all else. When you do things differently, people won’t always understand, and often they will judge you. But their judgments are only reflections of their own fears and limitations. The key is to persevere and stay on your path—trusting that the desires you feel deep in your heart are guiding you toward what you’re truly looking for. Even if it feels scary, even if you don’t yet know exactly what it will look like, your heart knows the way.

Second, vulnerability. I was willing to start at the very beginning, entering a field I knew nothing about. I took my first Reiki class in September 2021 and my first Akashic Records course in July 2022. Now, in 2025, I’ve had the honor of teaching 27 students in both Reiki and the Akashic Records. Anything is possible when you allow yourself to begin, to keep going, and to trust yourself along the way. It’s okay to get it wrong, to throw ideas against the wall, and to try again. The fear of failure will only hold you back—but failure itself is not the enemy. Failure is a redirection. Without experiencing loss or mistakes, you cannot fully know success. Vulnerability and humility create the space for growth and open the doorway to quantum leaps on your highest path.

Finally, curiosity. When you feel the spark to try something new, follow it. Read about it, listen to podcasts, explore teachings—immerse yourself in what lights you up until it becomes part of your very being. Curiosity is the compass that keeps you moving forward, expanding, and aligning with your true path.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

Overwhelm, anxiety, and burnout were constants in my life for as long as I can remember. When you start a business—any business—you quickly realize that your business becomes your biggest mirror. If you don’t believe in yourself, your business will reflect that back to you. Entrepreneurship, I’ve learned, is one of the greatest healing journeys. It pushes you to your edges and shows you what you are truly capable of—in the best and hardest ways.

In 2023, I made a pivotal decision: I hired a coach for an entire year to help me reprogram the subconscious thoughts, patterns, and behaviors that were holding me back from living a fulfilled, free, and fully expressed life. For years, I carried limiting beliefs that I wasn’t good enough, or worthy enough, to run a business or show up online. These beliefs were so ingrained in me that I didn’t even realize they were running the show. Coaching, which in my case was with a psychotherapist, helped me see the patterns I was unconsciously living out of—and, more importantly, gave me the tools to rewrite them into new patterns of self-confidence and trust in myself.

A huge part of this work was regulating my nervous system. For most of my life, I lived in a constant state of fight or flight, flooded with cortisol, hypervigilant, always on the go, and never creating space to connect with myself. It was toxic. I had trained my mind to believe that I could only handle a few things at a time—any more, and I’d spiral into overwhelm, anxiety, and fear of failing in the future. What I’ve since learned is that in the present moment, I am safe. I can insource that safety and peace within myself at any time.

Because of this work, I no longer get consumed by overwhelm, stress, or anxiety. I now have the tools to process my emotions and regulate my nervous system. In the past year alone, I planned my wedding, launched my first Akashic Records container that held 9 students, supported my dad as he transitioned out of his business, organized my best friend’s bachelorette, and planned my mom’s 60th birthday trip to Europe. The old me would have panicked and maybe only managed one or two of those things. Today, I’ve expanded my capacity. I’ve learned to trust myself and move through it all with peace, harmony, and balance.

My advice? Whatever modality resonates with you, find a way to regulate your nervous system. More likely than not—even if you think you’re fine—you’re probably carrying more stress than you realize. And no matter where you are, you can always insource more peace and harmony from within.
