Meet Danica Eakman

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Danica Eakman. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Danica below.

Hi Danica, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

Optimism is part of who I am—it’s in my nature. I genuinely love the energetic exchange that comes from putting out good, intentional energy into the world. There’s something powerful about choosing to see the light in every situation; it creates a ripple effect, not just in my own life, but in the lives of those around me.
For me, optimism isn’t about ignoring the hard, painful stuff—it’s about trusting that even in the challenges, there’s growth, purpose, and potential. I’ve learned that when I stay rooted in positive energy, I attract more of it back. It fuels my work, my relationships, and the way I show up for others. It helps me stay connected to gratitude, joy, and hope, which are cornerstones of everything I do—especially through Liora. Sharing that energy with others, and helping them reconnect to their own light, is one of the greatest honors of my life.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Liora is a heart-centered business devoted to supporting the feminine. It’s a sacred space for women to reconnect with themselves and with others on a deeper, more authentic level. I specialize in healing sound baths and intimate, intentional networking events that foster real connection and community.
What sets Liora apart is the genuine curiosity and care I bring to every interaction. My mission is to be of service—whether that’s through a deeply restorative sound bath or introducing someone to a connection that could transform their personal or professional life. I lead with authenticity, love, and a true desire to be a meaningful resource for others.
At Liora, I offer more than just an experience—I offer a safe, nurturing space to feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether you’re seeking healing, connection, or inspiration, I would be honored to hold that space for you—either through a sound bath (virtually or in person) or at one of our community events.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are bravery, confidence, and resilience.

Bravery has allowed me to take the leap—whether that was starting my business, hosting my first sound bath, or standing in front of a room full of people to guide them through healing. It’s not about being fearless; it’s about feeling the fear and choosing to move forward anyway. For those just starting out, my advice is: don’t wait until you feel “ready.” Take the leap. Action builds courage.

Confidence has helped me trust in my voice, my vision, and the value of what I offer—even when others didn’t fully understand it yet. It’s something I’ve had to nurture over time, especially in a niche space like sound healing. To grow your confidence, surround yourself with people who believe in you, celebrate your small wins, and remember why you started. Confidence doesn’t appear overnight—it’s built through showing up consistently.

Resilience has been essential in navigating the inevitable ups and downs of entrepreneurship. There have been slow seasons, moments of doubt, and times where I felt like giving up—but resilience kept me grounded and reminded me that challenges are part of the journey, not the end of it. My advice here: build practices that support your well-being—whether that’s rest, therapy, mindfulness, or community. Resilience is strengthened when we take care of ourselves holistically.

For anyone starting out, know that these qualities aren’t prerequisites—they’re muscles you build along the way. Stay connected to your “why,” and allow your growth to unfold with grace.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

My husband, Stacy Eakman, has been one of the most helpful and inspiring people in my journey. Watching him navigate his own entrepreneurial path gave me a front-row seat to what it really takes to build something from the ground up. His passion, dedication, and willingness to figure things out—even when he didn’t have all the answers—showed me that success isn’t about perfection, it’s about persistence.
When I decided to start my own business, he was right there with me—not just cheering me on emotionally, but also helping me with all the nitty gritty parts of entrepreneurship that I had no idea about. From setting up systems and managing the back end, to navigating the more technical or business-oriented tasks, he offered the guidance, patience, and practical support I needed to turn my vision into something real.
Beyond the logistics, though, he believed in me deeply—even during the times I doubted myself. His support gave me the confidence to trust my instincts, take bold steps, and lean into my own leadership. I’m so grateful for his role in this journey, not just as a partner in life, but as someone who helped me become the entrepreneur I am today.
