Meet Daniela Moreno

We were lucky to catch up with Daniela Moreno recently and have shared our conversation below.

Daniela , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I think I have always listened to and followed a lot what my inner girl said or did. Since I was very young, I have always had a great love and passion for everything related to art. I always remember me drawing, painting or experimenting with different forms of art. I even studied architecture for a while. But I think I was very fortunate to find my purpose and greatest passion from a very early age. At the age of 17 I entered the world of tattooing and that’s when I realized that being able to create and design something from scratch for a person and capture it in his body for life, would be one of my greatest purposes.

Hello, how are you!
My name is Daniela or also known as @danmlines. I am a Mexican tattoo artist, specialized in fine-line and delicate body art pieces. Currently it has been almost 6 years since I started in this world and one of the reasons why I love and enjoy about tattooing is that I have had the opportunity to travel, to explore, to coincide and meet great people and artists from different parts of the world. That every person who had come to me gives me a large part of their trust and body to be able to create for them unique and unrepeatable piece of art. Something that they will carry as a symbol of their identities for life, this is something very special and significant for me. I feel very grateful for each of the people I have met and have trusted me and my work since I started.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

For me, 3 of the most important qualities in my career and in my life have been: dedication, perseverance and love. The dedication and effort you invest in your work, hobby or passion will be what will allow you to achieve greater achievements and better results.
While constancy will go hand in hand with daily practice, and will be the force that drives us to achieve our goals, despite the difficulties or non-immediate results.
And last but not least, love. Putting love to every thing, every action, no matter how simple it may seem, by doing things with love I guarantee you that there will never be bad results.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

I have always thought that every person who has crossed my path has taught me something, that from each of them I have been able to learn something and each one has contributed something to my life. But without a doubt I try to surround myself with people who inspire me and motivate me to grow constantly in any area! Of course I must also give credit to my parents that without a doubt since I started and decided to pursue my dream of being an artist, tattooing and traveling the world, they always supported me, believed in me and let me be free to explore and try, even if there were fears and doubts.
