Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Danielle Avery. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Danielle Avery, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
Resilience wasn’t a choice for me—it was survival. Growing up with a single mom of three and then losing her at 18, I had to be quick on my feet, adapt, and push forward. It was either figure it out or get left behind.
But more than anything, my resilience comes from God. He’s been my firm foundation through every challenge, guiding me when I felt lost and strengthening me when I felt weak. My ability to pivot, strategize, and succeed isn’t just about grit—it’s about faith. I don’t just endure; I overcome, knowing that He’s always making a way.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m Danielle Avery, the founder of AveryEdge Consulting and Love on Purpose Collective—two platforms that reflect my passion for helping people step into the fullness of who they’re called to be, both in business and in faith.
Through AveryEdge Consulting, I help entrepreneurs launch with purpose, scale with strategy, and execute with vision. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine and grow, I provide the clarity, structure, and strategic direction needed to build a brand that thrives. I believe that success isn’t just about having a great idea—it’s about knowing how to position it, market it, and execute it with intention.
On the faith side, Love on Purpose Collective is a space for believers to gather, grow, and strengthen one another—because life isn’t meant to be navigated alone. It’s about building a community rooted in love, accountability, and purpose.
Right now, I’m excited about expanding both initiatives—hosting more AveryEdge workshops, helping entrepreneurs bring their dream brands to life, and growing Love on Purpose through events and community initiatives. At the core of everything I do is the belief that when people are equipped with strategy and supported in purpose, they become unstoppable.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are perseverance, strategic thinking, and faith.
Perseverance has been the foundation of my success. Entrepreneurship comes with setbacks, but I’ve learned that success belongs to those who refuse to quit. Life has tested me in ways that forced me to adapt quickly, and that same mindset has helped me push through challenges in business. My advice? Get comfortable with discomfort. Challenges aren’t roadblocks; they’re redirections. Learn from every obstacle and keep moving forward.
Strategic thinking is what separates dreamers from doers. Having a vision is great, but knowing how to execute it is what leads to long-term success. I built AveryEdge Consulting on the foundation of strategy because I know that intentional planning creates sustainable growth. My advice? Remain a student for life. The world is constantly evolving, and the best thinkers are the best students. Stay curious, keep learning, and always be willing to adapt as new information and opportunities arise.
Lastly, faith has been my anchor. I don’t just rely on my own abilities—I trust that God is guiding me. There were times I didn’t know what was next, but I moved in faith anyway, and every time, He made a way. My advice? Stay connected to your purpose. When things get tough, remember why you started. Pray, trust, and keep going.
For anyone just starting out—embrace learning, take action before you feel ready, and surround yourself with people who challenge and uplift you. Growth happens in motion.
Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
As my businesses have been growing rapidly, I’ve had to learn to let someone else “babysit my child.” All entrepreneurs understand that your business is your baby, and handing over any part of it can feel like a risk. But in order to scale, you also have to grow your mindset and trust others with different facets of your business. I’ve been focusing on delegation, building strong systems, and surrounding myself with the right people who align with my vision. I remind myself that I can have it all, but I can’t do it all. Letting go isn’t losing control—it’s making room for greater growth.
