Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Danielle C. Marshall. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Danielle C. , appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
I keep my creativity alive by staying connected to my Source, the Creator of all things! Spending time with God, listening for His instruction, and then getting my marching orders for what’s next is the foundation of my creativity. Nothing is better to me than being refreshed and sometimes even reset in His presence!
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My name is Danielle C. Marshall, also known as The Style Marshall, and I am a FIT Instructor and Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist based in New York. My clients range across industries, both celebrity, corporate and entertainment. I style artists, fashion shows, photo/video shoots and marketing campaigns. i also do closet makeovers and personal styling for client events from weddings to rebranding. My keen eye for details and fresh approach to styling, makes me the perfect fit to balance both sophistication and ground-breaking fashion trends. My professionalism, charisma and sheer talent are evident and highly demonstrated in all of her projects. I am excited about my upcoming launch of my first clothing brand, The Tail Blazer.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Being a visionary and having an eye for detail is one necessary skill and gift God blessed me with! In addition, fashion knowledge and creativity that makes every look unique and relevant.
The advice I have is to stay true to yourself, do not ever compare as there is only one you, and trust the process do not rush the process!
What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
My biggest area of growth has been public speaking. Although I still need some work since I say um and like a lot. I am grateful that God has stretched me with the various platforms I have been afforded to speak on. He has allowed me to share my journey at conferences, retreats, on podcasts, on social media lives, and now YouTube!
