Meet Danielle Fiers

We recently connected with Danielle Fiers and have shared our conversation below.

Danielle, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I think when we are young we all have a dream of what we would like to be when we grow up. As life goes on, you work towards that dream or you don’t. I always wanted to be a singer. I loved making people happy while singing. I wanted to be just like Michael Jackson. In the midst of me training for singing, going to school for it, learning about the music business world, I realized something even greater. I realized who I was as a person. That, is how I found my purpose. I realized it wasn’t only about music. I realized it was me. My personality, my energy…. I have the ability to change lives. It became so much bigger than music. Music is just one piece of me, that brings magic and wonderment to the masses. Once I figured that out…I was golden.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Currently I am focused on taking everything to the next level. Bigger and better, really becoming a recognizable name to people. I do a little bit of everything, I am a singer/songwriter, along with an actor, a voiceover artist, and a hand model. I love that I am using my entire being to create and make something out of nothing. To be able to write a song, then share it with the world and have fans in countries I have yet to visit, is incredible. I have a song out with Jermaine Jackson called “You Like Me Don’t You (remix)” and the idea that I have worked with a Jackson, is beyond me! I also have a commercial running for one of the Gabby’s Dollhouse toys as the hand model, which is so cool, playing with toys for a living. So many amazing things, I just want to keep it moving forward and continue to grow!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three most important qualities:

1. Discipline- because even when you don’t feel like doing something, you see the bigger picture and know to just do it. It’s like second nature, to reach your goal.

2. Optimism- Always look on the bright side. Glass half full—ALWAYS. I don’t believe in failure, failure only happens when you don’t try, or give up. I think everything is a learning process which turns into a win!!

3. Fun- HAVING FUN! So many people take themselves too seriously. Be serious about your craft and learn everything and be diligent, but have fun! Your energy has to shine through to be the best you. People will feel it if you aren’t having fun.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The book has played an important role and has had the most valuable impact would have to be The Secret. Hands down. When you realize you are truly in control of your outcomes, the world is your oyster. The Law of Attraction, The Law of Assumption, it’s all real. People don’t realize thoughts become things. I have utilized the laws over and over and have had amazing outcomes, a hundred times over. I always look to keep my mind channeled and focused on what I want, and block out all of the noise. I never feel rejection, because I tell myself “I book everything I audition for!” When you go in with that winner mentality, you can’t be stopped.
