We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Danielle McCleerey. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Danielle below.
Hi Danielle, so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?
I’ve been the black sheep in my family my whole life. I constantly danced to the beat of my own drum and did most things unconventional to the way “most people did things.” My first haters were some of my family and closest friends- not because they were being malicious, but because I was always growing out of the boxes they put me in to match their comfort level. I was not made for a box, and I’ve pretty much always done exactly what I want. I used to think there was something wrong with me because I would constantly hear things like “you change your mind like you change your underwear.” Turns out, my radical authenticity, and formidable drive to achieve my dream life is actually my super power. In order to have everything you want, you have to be willing to be wildly misunderstood. In fact, I wish more people understood that their success is dependent on their willingness to be misunderstood. The reason for this is because most people settle. Most people do as they’re told and they act as they’re expected to. To be exactly who you are made to be is bold- a little radical even. It’s not normal, and when something isn’t “normal”, it will be misunderstood.
Do it anyway.
I’ve been called cocky, full of myself and a know-it-all my whole life. But in reality, it’s none of my business if people cannot understand or handle my authentic, driven, and confident nature. That’s a them- thing.
In the words of Taylor Swift- “I’ll tell you about my good name. It’s mind alone to disgrace.”
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a speaker and coach, and my speciality is subconscious mind, astrology and human design. I tell people I’m the intersection of cosmic sh*t and healing our sh*t.
I’ve done many things in life, ranging from professional theatre and dance, 2 bachelor degrees and a masters, health coaching, fitness coaching, network marketing, podcasting, and currently I work with entrepreneurs, celebrities and executives on their central nervous system. I’m really excited by people healing their trauma, loops and patterns they can really get to know themselves deeper and create the most magically abundant and delusional lives.
I am a speaker for conferences, panels. And podcasts, and I also have a wide range of courses and ways for people to work with me more intimately. I also have a podcast called “On the Daily with Danielle McCleerey”, which is globally rated in the top .5% of all podcasts.
My absolute most powerful zone of genius is helping people remember who they are, and I love it so much. My ability to tap into someone’s subconscious mind and really connect with their deepest desires is unmatched.
I am born and raised in Los Angeles CA, but have traveled all over the world many times, and currently reside outside Austin Texas with my wife, Breezie, and my 8 year old son, Owen.
What am I excited about right now? Living. My life is 100% on my terms and I am so excited to be able to what I want, when I want, how I want, and why I want without asking permission or checking my bank account first. Life is so so good.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Discernment, discernment, discernment. Learning how to tap into your own energy and detach from anyone else’s narrative, agenda, or ideas is the most valuable ale skill you will learn. What is yours to carry, and what is not? Is this a full body yes, or no? I learned discernment through human design and astrology. This is what I teach people to do.
Hire a mentor early and keep them. Mentorship is the greatest way to move quicker toward the success you desire. Why move slowly alone when you can move quicker and more stable? I’ve had a mentor for over 10 years, and it’s why I continue to move so fast in my career. It raised my emotional intelligence and taught me skills that are and have been invaluable to my growth. It’s kept me entering spaces bigger than me, which expand my capacity for growth. Get in the room, and hire mentorship.
Lastly, Human Design. Much like learning your enneagram, or taking the Meyer Briggs personality test, learning my human design healed my burnout. It healed my addiction to praise and external validation that kept me on the hamster wheel of always needing to be accessible and available. I learned that I am most successful when I say “no” most often. Now, I am unavailable for anything not mutually beneficial. I am satisfied everyday. I work smarter, not harder, and I know what impact I am meant to have on the world. (I offer human design readings if you want to learn more about yours).
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I LOVE TO COLLABORATE! If anyone is looking for a podcast guest, panel speaker, or conference Keynote who can speak on human design, astrology, rewiring the subconscious mind, scaling a business in a feminine way, or confidently getting everything you want – I am your girl.
I love to do joint events or retreats as well.
