Meet Danielle Rodriguez Cade

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Danielle Rodriguez Cade. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Danielle, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My dad worked the sugar cane fields in Puerto Rico, immigrated to the states during a turbulent time period for Puerto Ricans, and entered the restaurant industry. With hard work and tenacity he worked his way up to owner of a successful restaurant (not to mention delicious). He taught me that there was always more to do when working – find the problem and solve it.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
We provide virtual assistance at the executive level for small nonprofits and solopreneuers. It’s a fancy way of saying that we go beyond emails and calendars; we are your project managers, content creators, administrators, coordinators, etc. Ultimately, we are your administrative heroes when it comes to helping you run your organization. You make the big decisions – we take care of all of the little ones.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1.) Willingness to learn – saying “I don’t know but I can find out” has always been a huge way we’ve helped our clients. They are paying us to figure the problem out for them. 2.) Communication (and how often) – there is communicating but there is also over and under communication, and what each client needs are different. Part of our onboarding process is making sure everyone is on the same page when it comes to communication style.
3.) Trust – heroes should be trusted! We believe that working hard in the first two areas play into this third one. Our clients trust us to get the job done, and we are very proud of that!

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
We’re nerds. After all, our company is named after Catwoman and Batman. We want to nerd out over your business with you and be your thought partner! We choose clients who want more than a yes man – who want to offload an aspect of their organization to us so that they can free up their mental space for the big picture. It’s important to us, so we want it to be important to them too.
