Meet Danielle Velasquez

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Danielle Velasquez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Danielle, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

My self-confidence comes from everything I’ve already overcome. Every setback built a little more resilience, and every win reminded me of what I’m capable of. It comes from the promises I keep to myself. Confidence grows when I show up for myself, even when it’s hard. I learned this from my parents and I am forever grateful for the lessons that molded me into who I am today.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Since we last spoke, I am excited to announce the launch of our interior design firm — Cole Mateo Co.!
This brand was born from a passion for design and a commitment to quality. At Cole Mateo Co., we believe furniture should do more than fill a space — it should define it. Every piece is thoughtfully crafted to bring style, function, and personality into your home. The website is launching May 2025 at www.colemateoco.com.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Resilience – There will be setbacks, delays, and disappointments. What matters is your ability to keep moving. I learned to treat failure as feedback, not a finish line. Strengthen your mindset. Read, journal, and surround yourself with people who challenge you to keep going.

Adaptability – The market shifts. Plans fall apart. What works today might not work tomorrow. Learning to pivot without losing momentum made all the difference. Stay adaptable. The ability to adapt is a bigger asset than perfection.

Relationship-Building – No one builds something great alone. Mentors, collaborators, and even clients shape your growth. Lead with value. Show up with integrity. Invest in real connections—not just transactions.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

We are currently interviewing affiliate marketers to partner with Cole Mateo Co. to promote our products and services. As an affiliate, you earn a commission for every sale generated by you. It’s a flexible, performance-based opportunity where you can monetize your audience — whether through word of mouth, a blog, social media, email list, or website — without creating your own products. The more you promote and convert, the more you earn. you do not need sales experience or a large following to get started.
