Meet Danny P.

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Danny P.. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Danny, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

My confidence came from knowing that I could if I wanted to. Growing up, I used to see things that inspired me or motivated me and once I tried and was successful I knew in my mind that if I continued, I could really be GREAT at what ever it was I put my mind to.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

What I would like people to know about me is that I am an introvert. I’m not a mixy type of dude. I stay to myself because it helps me filter out the noise so I can focus on what it is I want without any outside influence. When I figure out what I want, I make a plan then I execute. My passion is music. I like making music, from instrumentals to full on songs.
When I was younger I dabbled with the arts, I did some drawings and paintings but I wasn’t consistent with it enough to try and paint something now and release it to the masses.
I’d say my Brand is to just “Be You”. I do what I like because I genuinely like it, not because it’s popular or because of the gain that could possibly come from it. I do what makes me most happy.
As far as business goes, I have a photobooth that I’m renting out for different events. I’ve done a few around the city so hopefully that gains a little more traction! I call it Splash Booth Co.
as far as what’s new coming from me, I’m working on a new Album called 6 Figure Dan and a continuation project from Nothing But Slaps, my first album, with Dj Don Primo from StreetTeamWorldWide.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back I’d say, learning how to write music, use GarageBand and the basics of Djing. I’d say these were the most impactful because with learning how to write music you learn different styles you learn, different cadences how to get your thoughts out & also how to convey what you want to your audience and that goes hand-in-hand with being a DJ or making the beats because as a DJ you have to learn different BPM‘s, you have to learn how to blend & what song fits with another song, to keep the vibe going. GarageBand I use that to learn how to make the beats myself so I wouldn’t have to outsource. For people that are trying to do the same thing, I say just take it all the way, knowledge is power the more you learn the better you get the more you grow.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?

My number one obstacle is being a introvert that hinders what I’m doing because naturally I stay to myself. I don’t even have to think about it. It’s just I’m here & They are over there. You know, so my resolve to that is opening myself up to new experiences, meeting people, & starting conversations. Usually I’m a wallflower if that makes sense, I play the background because I don’t really care for the spotlight. But if I have to be in the spotlight, I’m gonna make it look good when I’m there and you will remember me.
