Darius , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I use to beat myself up over all the choices I made because I didn’t understand how much gift and talent I really had. I stumbled over a quote it said “I always thought it was me against the world and then one day I realized It’s just me against me”. I studied my craft to make sure I have the knowledge and the answers to questions or concerns. I’m truly confident in my work but also in my self.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
When I started my business 5 years ago I had no clue on how far my business would take me. I started my business to provide the best service at a cheaper rate that many can argue they still get the same quality. Children also gain enjoyment from King Tv Mounting with so many different led light designs to help with sleep,anxiety, and metal disabilities. We also offer many different raffles and giveaways to all our clients to show them we care and thankful for all their support over the years. This year we will have more giveaways and spend more time in the community to hear feedback and get more ideas from our clients.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I learned that to be a great leader you can’t be afraid to take advice and listen to others that are willing to help. Build a great team around you, and treat them just as you want them to treat you. The most important thing is having the drive and determination to want to succeed in your business. Never get discouraged because you never know who looks up to you.
Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
We have grew more commercial opportunities and business. Our marketing team have really stepped up to make sure we are getting the proper exposure we need to remain relevant and useful.
