Meet DARKROSE

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful DARKROSE. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with DARKROSE below.

DARKROSE , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

Music has been apart of my life forever. I can’t remember a time I wasn’t thinking of music. It was really an obsession. I’m one of those people that once I like something ;I really like it . My purpose is making music. Everything in my life has led me to music. Whether good or bad it all circles back to music. Every decision I’ve made has always been for the sole purpose of creating music.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

My name is Darkrose. Follow me on Spotify. I’m a Nashville born and raised music artist. I’m known for indie folk, cloud rap and alternative music. In my personal opinion the most important or exciting part about being a music artist is everything. I love the meetings with labels & A& R. I love planning marketing and tour dates behind the scenes. I love pacing back and forth , listening to instrumentals until the song forms itself. I love the financial freedom and the endless possibilities. Creative freedom is everything and I have the ability to create whatever and release it. I’m a perfectionist naturally. I’m always trying to make sure I evolve and improve myself . I’m going on my first world tour soon. I have so much new music and videos coming. I’m excited for it all and I’m excited to meet everyone as well.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The most impactful qualities in my journey was definitely the ability to learn. You have to be willing to listen and learn about things you have no knowledge in. You have to invest in yourself and learn discipline. If you’re not making your money work for you then what are you doing. I advise everyone to invest back into their career. It’s the smartest thing you can do. Don’t let life distract you from your goals. Make sure you remain focused. Don’t sacrifice your time for other people. In a sense that I mean make sure you live for you before you live for others . Make sure your current actions benefit your future self. Plan everything and stick to those plans no matter what. Music is nowhere close to easy but once it pays off it will all be worth it.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I love making music so I’m down to collaborate with anyone. If I like the music and you have a budget let me know. You can message me or my manager and we will work together. I’m looking to collaborate with major brands and artists as well as Tennessee based brands. Something with the Titans would be nice or TSU, MTSU. I’d love making that happen. Also clothing brands and companies I’m down for it all. I know this isn’t ideal but if you own a vape shop or vape brand hmu lol. That’s one of my studio essentials. Other than that my heart is indie folk or cloud rap so I look forward to making that type of music. I’m always looking for new producers to work with. I think DARKROSE and any brand would makes sense .
