Meet Dasja White

We were lucky to catch up with Dasja White recently and have shared our conversation below.

Dasja, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
My confidence and self-esteem has improved tremendously. Hair is my passion so I always had confidence in the things that I’m passion about. I started therapy in 2022 and that helped build my confidence and self esteem in everything I do. My therapist has impacted my life by helping me find my self esteem and confidence. Not just hair, but everything I do in life. I worked with my therapist doing daily affirmations, finding things that make me happy, and also doing things that make me happy. The things that I learned enhanced the self esteem and confidence that I now have today. I fall in love with myself and the development I have.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Dasja’s Divine Designs is filled with amazing and affordable quality protective styles. These styles consist of knotless braids, traditional braids, crochet, and sew in’s. The protective styles help my clients protect their hair from manipulating on a daily basis. Every style I do helps promote hair growth and low manipulation. I also sell products that promotes hair growth and laying the edges that my clients enjoy doing with their protective styles.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
My parents are amazing individuals. They go above and beyond for me with no hesitation. Everything they have ever done for me is impactful. The most impactful thing they ever one is push me. They push me to be better and do better. My mom favorite motto is ” When we know better, we do better!” Another impactful thing my parents taught me is respect. Respect goes a long way. I treat people how I want to be treated. I carry these things into my business. I push myself to apply greatness into ever style I do on a client. I respect my clients with the upmost respect.
