Meet Davell Wright

We were lucky to catch up with Davell Wright recently and have shared our conversation below.

Davell, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my journey. I always grinded hard whether it was sports and music I want to work as hard as I can thinking about where I have come from.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am an artist/ entrepreneur. I focus a lot on my artistry when it comes to music but I also have a clothing brand called Matchless. The brand just matches my personality. Unable to be compared. It kinda goes along with my flow. My flow is my swag and clothing is a big part of that.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Staying diligent in your craft. Being intentional with any move I make. And always be open minded to idea’s because you never know what you can get outta them.
My best advice is to always be yourself and no one else can tell you differently.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Definitely my god mother or my dad. They both put tools in me to make my music and brand where it is today.
