We recently connected with David Cabral and have shared our conversation below.
David , thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
Creativity is a lot of things when you come to think of it. For me I always liked messing around with different styles or trying new things to bring out my creative side! Every weekend I like to explore the state and look for cool or interesting things to do. I also like to journal my ideas and test it out.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Im a 17 year old entrepreneur. I specialize in photography aswell as ads. I find meeting new people really cool. Im working on getting a sponsorship with a big brand. Cant say who it is yet but its big! Im focused on expanding my buisness to other people and create a strong connection with the community. This all started for me at 15 and I want to be able to help build someones dream into a reality!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Thinking back, I think not knowing what you’re doing first of all but also not knowing what you’re doing is the biggest thing because if you know what to do you’re gonna keep growing a little bit here and there but if you’re messing up and always improving. Then you’re going to get far. Just keep practicing whatever it is no matter how small or big it is. Just keep going for it. For me landing my first client was super exciting even though it wasn’t paid. It was for exposure that helped me get to where I am today so connections is really big as well.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Shout out to my parents! Any idea I’ve had always ran it through them. They’ve always said yeah go for it and if I struggled with something afterwards, I could go to them and they could help talk me through what I did wrong and what I can do right so shout out to them because they’re helping me become who I am today and hopefully become big.
