Meet David Oman

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to David Oman. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi David, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I find my purpose from my writing. I write a lot of blogs, reviews and interviews, which led me to interviewing some singers, content creators and bands. My writing led me to a lot of cool opportunities.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

My brand is playedbydavid I have a blog and YouTube channel. I do a lot of interviews with content creators, singers and bands.

I’m also the manager of a band called The New Serpents, who are an indie/alternative band. They have a new double single out called Rotten Meat and Slow, available to stream on all music platforms.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I think whatever you do in your field you have to have a passion for it. I’ve always loved music and music is a big part of what my content revolves around. I’ve always wrote and I’m a pretty creative person so I take these things into whatever I’m working on. I think if you want to do something you just have to go for it, don’t be afraid of reaching out to people to collaborate with, they can only say yes or no.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’m always looking out for cool people to collaborate with on written interviews or for my YouTube channel. If you’re in a band, a singer or make cool content I’m always happy to collaborate with someone and make some great content. I’m always active on instagram so you can reach out to me there or by email.
