Meet David Whitten Jr.

We recently connected with David Whitten Jr and have shared our conversation below.

David, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Everything happens for a reason. That defines my purpose. It helps me continue to have a positive attitude about all things that happen in life. Being disciplined, having patience, and developing the will to work on my craft, assists me of seeing the full vision of my projects.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
For a mix engineer or producer:

1. Learn your craft – Take the time to know your tools and the “why” you are applying them.

2. Practice, Practice, Practice/ 10,000 Hours – get your shots up in the gym! Mix as often as you can. Paid client or free client

3. Be Patient

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m always looking for new artist to work with! hopefully I can help bring your audio vision that’s been stuck in your head to life!
