We were lucky to catch up with Davon Smith recently and have shared our conversation below.

Davon , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
Social media has changed my life for the better in many ways. One way I stay creative Is with the help of my community. I am able to remain motivated and engaging, thanks to so many people who help make our online spaces awesome. When my channels are live, people from all parts of the world come together to create an entertaining time for everyone. Another way I am able to stay creative is focusing on a subject you’re truly passionate about. You can find so many ways to enjoy something you love. Others that view my posts, also express interest and we all benefit from shared knowledge in the comments. That makes creating content, very fun!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Have You Heard Of Kick? A new streaming platform has arrived recently and made some big waves. This has been another space that I can find creativity in and enjoy hanging out with friends. I am very much still on twitch as A major focus for our live streams is a game called Naraka Bladepoint. Thanks to a partnership with this game, our channels are able to feature in game rewards for viewers and host events. I have also taken on a new role of casting events and calling out the action live. With so many updates from console Release and free to play announcements, it allows for a lot of new things to do while live. Expanding to TikTok gaming has also been an interest and I’ve already met so many new people there. My wife and I, are still very involved with the vape industry and are even flying out to Dallas for an event. A company called Uno, who we have known for through the industry for many years, invited us out to be part of the show. Recently I had the honor of being flown out to LA for a interview with A fellow content creator who has A large audience, focused on social aspects that affect our lives. I still use many social media platforms, such as Instagram, Tiktok and Twitter as a primary way to vlog a lot of my offline events and keep in touch with my community. Our Online Store, Hustlesmiths.com features many other creators and merch to represent their streams. Originally the store name was vaperzedgeshop but since the focus changed and we have more people involved. We adopted a new name and revolve much more around gaming. All this and more are why being a content creator, never gets old.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Even at a young age I enjoyed attention and looked for leadership roles. I learned early in life, how to be in front of an audience and deal with those pressure. As A child, I was involved in several modeling campaigns, acting gigs, and theater. One tip for content creation is, focusing on a subject you’re passionate about and finding those who also enjoy the same things. Together, the journey becomes easier to carve a path and is way more fun. Surround yourself with motivated individuals of your desired field and grow together.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
The main support of my life comes from my wife Cassandra Anderson, who always supports my choices and is also a creator herself. Finding someone who shares the journey thru life with you can be great and even a close friend, who Shares your passions can be invaluable.
Look to a mentor, ask plenty of questions and find your own style. The help of others along the way is very important both both parties involved. Overcoming health issues has always been a challenge. the cluster headaches have become less frequent, thanks to an amazing team of doctors I was able to find since I last spoke with everyone here. I hope to maintain a life without pain as much as possible and focus on all the fun things I enjoy!
