Deangelo , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from the challenges I’ve faced growing up, which taught me how to adapt and stay strong in tough situations. Recently, I get my resilience from the support of my family and friends, who have always been there for me during tough times. I believe that every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow, and that belief keeps me going, no matter what. However, I stay resilient because I’m deeply committed to my goals and values, and I know that overcoming adversity is part of the process to achieve them.

I’m an owner operator of RogerThat Logistics, LLC, is a dedicated local delivery service operating in the Southeast region of the U.S. We specialize in fast, reliable, and efficient logistics solutions, ensuring timely delivery of goods for businesses and individuals. Our commitment to customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and professionalism sets us apart as a trusted partner for all local delivery needs.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back I think logistics revolves around precise scheduling and minimizing delays. Skills like effective time management ensures that deliveries are made promptly, which is crucial for maintaining customer trust and operational success. Unexpected challenges such as traffic, weather, or supply chain disruptions are common in logistics. Understanding local geography, traffic patterns, and delivery regulations is essential for optimizing routes and ensuring compliance with local laws, which leads to more cost-effective and timely deliveries.
My advice is to prioritize tasks and optimize routes to minimize delays and meet deadlines consistently. Nonetheless, master your delivery area and stay updated on local laws to improve speed and avoid compliance issues.
How would you describe your ideal client?
The ideal client for RogerThat Logistics, LLC would be a business or individual who values reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in their delivery services. This could include small to medium-sized businesses that require regular, efficient deliveries, such as local retailers, e-commerce companies, or manufacturers.
