Meet Debra Driscoll

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Debra Driscoll. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Debra below.

Debra, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
I have always believed in possibility, magic, and the power we have to create the lives we wish to live. I have followed my curiosities and passion through many modalities of learning and application in natural medicine, energy work, spiritual practice, storytelling, and community development and engagement. I believe the universe has our back and always works for us and our higher good. In April 2003, I met my big life loss.
My son Sage unexpectedly died one month before his 11th birthday.
In the wake of Sage’s death, I asked, “How is this in my best interest, for my highest good? How can this be the universe having my back?
Those questions and my curiosity and optimism that the answer was to be found set me off on my big life loss to big life magic journey. Along the way, I found many answers and most of them were about our capacity as humans and how we learn and love.
The optimism I have today comes from that journey, and from my repaired heart that is now stronger and more beautiful than before.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
In 2020 I launched BIG LIFE MAGIC, my business. Now in 2024, the magic has expanded!

The heart of BIG LIFE MAGIC is the virtual community, The Big Life Magic Makers. Inside the community, I teach mastery classes, as well as offers community events that support to align with what magic means to you.
In my 1:1 intuitive guidance work, I support people on a loss-to-magic journey. In 2024 Debra has begun to also offer Elite Energy Alignment for women who identify as living their big life and seeking energetic support to align and maintain the magic they create in the world.
I work with people across the extremes of our heart vibration; from loss to magic, magic curious, and magic mastery.

I have the delight and privilege of living with my husband on the island of Tobago where we are building our BIG LIFE MAGIC dream of an expanding sheep flock (I love being a shepherdess!) and an island adventure and magic retreat business.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

CURIOSITY ~ Quality I enjoy about me.

My intuition I call my first language. I live an intuitivey-led life and it has served me well. When we can connect to our inner guidance system we are always guided and even when we are lost, we can tune in to find the way.
For years I shared my favorite quality as honesty. Now I say curiosity. Curiosity has opened up so many spaces for me, inside me and also in my life and work. When we are curious we release judgment and the “I Know” thoughts. The world opens.
I am told often that my ability to hold space for others is a strength and I can feel that. Over the years I have worked on tuning into what this means and I have adjusted how I hold space. I hear it clearly when others reflect this back to me as I know it is true.

The best advice I have for someone seeking either heart repair, intuitive guidance, or any transformative spiritual activation or process is, HAVE FUN. I believe we take things too seriously sometimes and more fun is needed to ease pressure and open up possibilities.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
In Spring 2024 I launched Elite Energetic Alignment for women. This unique offer is for women who are in their big lives, making magic happen, and feeling like some support is needed to boost their energy so they can keep going. They are committed to who they are and what they are creating in the world. This new offer has piqued my interest in connecting with new groups of women, across sectors, and from different parts of the world. I am in particular looking to connect and partner with women who are also supporting women through their services, organizations or communitiy.
