Meet Dej

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Dej. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Dej below.

Dej, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

Keeping my creativity alive is all about embracing my energy and mood shifts. I get inspiration from everywhere—fashion, music, random moments, and even my own experiences. But when things feel stagnant, I switch it up. I might take a break, dive into something completely new, or even let my alter ego take over. I allow myself to evolve, stay open to different vibes, and always lean into that femme fatale energy. It’s all about staying true to myself and letting the ideas flow naturally.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m DeJ, and I’m all about building something bigger than just a brand—I’m building a movement. My brand, Itti Bitti, is a reflection of who I am and the alter ego I channel when I’m in my zone. It’s all about embracing dark feminine energy, confidence, and that unapologetic femme fatale vibe. From my beauty vending machine business to my content creation and modeling, everything I do has that same bold energy behind it.

Itti Bitti Vending is one of the projects I’m most excited about right now. It’s designed for ‘girly girls’ on the go, offering everything from press-on nails to other beauty essentials you didn’t know you needed until the moment you see them. I’m focused on making beauty and convenience come together in a unique way. There’s something special about offering products that reflect my style and giving other women the tools to tap into their own power.

Beyond that, I’m also a content creator, influencer, and brand ambassador, working with brands that align with my vibe. Whether it’s fashion, beauty, or lifestyle, I’m constantly creating content that connects with my audience. I’m also looking to expand by working with bigger brands and exploring new revenue streams, like consulting for other businesses that need help building their presence in the influencer and marketing space.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been resilience, adaptability, and staying true to my vision. Resilience is key because, let’s be real, things are going to go wrong, and there will be setbacks. But it’s about bouncing back every time, no matter how tough it gets. Adaptability is crucial, especially in the fast-paced world of social media and branding. You’ve got to be ready to pivot, try new things, and keep evolving. And staying true to my vision has kept me grounded—knowing who I am and what I want to represent has always guided me, no matter what.

For anyone starting out, my advice would be to build your resilience by not taking ‘no’ personally—it’s part of the process. Develop your adaptability by staying curious and learning as much as you can. Trends change, and you’ve got to be willing to change with them without losing your core. And most importantly, be clear about your vision, but don’t be afraid to refine it as you grow. Your brand or business should be an extension of who you are, so make sure it’s authentic to you from day one.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Absolutely, I’m always looking to collaborate with like-minded creatives and brands. Whether it’s fellow influencers, models, or businesses in the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle space, I love working with people who share the same passion and bold vision. I’m especially interested in partnering with brands that align with my femme fatale energy and aesthetics, or other creators who are all about empowering women and pushing boundaries.

If you’re reading this and feel like we’d vibe, definitely reach out! You can connect with me on social media and we can see how we can create something impactful together.
