Meet Dena Dawson

We were lucky to catch up with Dena Dawson recently and have shared our conversation below.

Dena, so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.
The best way to deal with negativity is to not. I choose to stay true to myself and my beliefs. Others opinion of me does not define me or my creativity.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a Freelance Nail Artist based in Los Angeles, providing on-location Nail Services. I’ve been fortunate to have worked with top names in the Entertainment industry for over two decades.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I am forever grateful to those who took time to hold doors open for me. Stay humble. Appreciate everything. Regret nothing.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is someone who recognizes value in the art I create. Genuine, loyal, positive, supportive people are always highest on my list.
