Desinique, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
MY MOM! Wow, such an amazing question! I was raised by a single mother. I literally never wanted or needed anything! She took care of me so effortlessly! I always said if my mom can provide this lifestyle for me, I have no choice but to maintain it. I owe her the world plus more! I cannot wait!!
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Of course, as you all know, I am Desinique. I am the owner of 1110 Branding Studio which builds professional websites and content materials for business owners. I am now branching off into being a Full Time Content Creator! I really don’t know why it took me so long to become one publicly but it is never to late to start! This is such an exciting point in my life because by being a Content Creator will lead me to so many more opportunities in the near future. My overall goal is to inspire women that you can accomplish ANYTHING you want with Hard work, determination, discipline and manifestation.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
3 qualities anyone should have who’s on the verge of accomplishing anything in life are hard work, determination and discipline. I encourage anyone whos early in their journey (like myself) is to stay focused.. success doesn’t happen overnight.. Just keep in the back of your mind that you will enjoy the fruit of your labor extremely soon.
If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
I wanted to speak on challenges because social media can sometimes make things appear to be smooth sailing and we know that’s not the case. The currently challenge I am facing right now is time management. Being that I have a 9-5, I have to find time to create high quality content.. It can sometimes be a little overwhelming but once I regroup, I am back on the mission!
