Meet Destiney Danielle

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Destiney Danielle . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Destiney , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Trial and error! I was the little girl who had her whole life mapped out by puberty and I was dedicated to fulfilling my mission. As I sit here tickling 30, living a completely different life than the one I had planned, I recognize the err in my ways and the beauty in living a life surrendered to the process of purpose.

Often times in school we’re asked what we want to be when we grow up and in our limited minds, we give a one word answer, mine was: teacher. I know now how much I limited myself with that one word answer, I didn’t give my multifaceted nature a real chance to flourish because I was so focused on what was “stable” and what was aesthetically pleasing to the people.

I gave no thought to the burning passion inside I had for writing, letting fear and lack mindset run my dreams to the farthest crevice of my mind. 20 years ago, god told me He would use my voice to speak to the nations, and the fear of what that could even mean was too much for me to digest, so I laughed it off and kept pursuing my dream. 20 years later God is using my voice and His gift of teaching to help planetshaking women of faith release their stories and build bespoke brands that speak to the authenticity of who they were designed to become.

Having spent my life running towards what I wanted, I inadvertently ran myself right into the very life of God’s dreams. The life that hid in the farthest of my mind, has become my reality and I realize now that I journeyed through the darkness within myself to find who I am destined to be when I grow up.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
At Destined for Greatness Consulting I train and motivate millennial women of faith to dismantle bloodline traumas and generate dynasty wealth through the releasing of their story and the building of their bespoke brand based on their journey.

In the same way I journeyed through my darkness to find myself, I walk with my Dynasty Partners to do the same. I motivate them to keep moving along the journey and guide them to not fall into the same potholes I fell into along the way. While I’m facilitating the journey, I’m training my dynasty partners on releasing their story and building their bespoke brand to speak to the hearts of their ecosystem.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is when I’m working with a Dynasty Partner and she gets the revelation of “why”! Why she went through what she went through. Why they did what they did. Why she exists. There are so many great revelations that come along the journey and knowing God used my darkest days to draw the light out of others is such a joy to experience. Together we learn and understand that none of it was in vain.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
This journey of trail and error, I’ve had to master number one: pivoting. Getting locked in to a certain season of life has been dangerous for me on more than one occasion. The ability to pivot comes from learning how to release my “need” for control. I learned how to master my need for control by dismantling the root of it (shoutout to ROOTED: The Journey to Walk on Water). I’ve also learned how to accept life has happened FOR me and not TO me.

These have been pivotal growing pains and growth points for me in this journey.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
My number one challenge right now is exposure. I struggle with getting in front of the millennial women of faith who need what I offer.

In the past this has largely been due to imposter syndrome and my not wanting to put myself out there, but I am putting myself out there!
