We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Devashree Bhau a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Devashree, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I get my work ethic from a deep-rooted passion for the science of space and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference. From a young age, I felt a strong intuitive connection to the energies, which naturally led me to study Vastu, Feng Shui, and other complementary disciplines like numerology and Vedic principles.
What keeps me dedicated is seeing how even tiny, intentional changes in a space can transform someone’s daily experiences. That sense of purpose fuels my consistency, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a Vastu and Feng Shui Consultant with 22 years of experience working with residences and businesses, offering services in interior and exterior design ideas, construction, remodeling, extension planning, aura check, space healing and reorganizing the vedic way. From a young age, I’ve had a deep inclination to learn about the energies that flow through spaces. Throughout my journey, I’ve worked closely with clients who value refined aesthetics of this science across all aspects of their environments. One truth has consistently emerged: even simple shifts in space whether through decluttering, repositioning objects and furniture, or designing a home from the ground up can profoundly transform the present and shape a better future for the occupants by bringing in the positive energies.

In my line of work, there are many approaches to space healing. I have chosen to expand my practice by exploring a variety of complementary disciplines. These include the study of numerology, individual zodiac signs, and in-depth readings of Vedic principles. I also draw profound inspiration from the wisdom of the supreme architect, Lord Vishwakarma, whose ancient Shastra guidelines continue to hold deep relevance in modern days more so today.

Additionally, It is a powerful feeling when all elements are aligned and balanced directionally. It completely changes the entire vibe of the given space.
Harnessing these time-tested principles of Vastu and Feng Shui can truly elevate the way you live.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I personally come from a place of wanting to make a difference and to spread awareness about this science to my Clients who have been loyal and have been coming back to me for guidance.
-Every space is different. Every client is unique. Hence understanding what would benefit each client the most in a collaborative manner is also authentic and is always personalized.
-Customizing solutions and remedies based on their specific needs around their space is of utter importance to me.
-Taking a practical and logical approach to the process is the fastest way to be on the same page with the people who look up to my services.
All of the above have consistently brought the best results for clients who actually believe with an intention to make changes.

My 2 Cents and my suggestion to anyone who is trying to work their way into a profession of their own:
Be unique, stay authentic and follow your passion!!!

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

In recent times, including all parts of interior design the Vastu and Feng Shui way has generated a lot of interest. Be it picking a Name plate, a house, choosing an office building, a painting, a piece of land, choosing furniture pieces, related decor items, to solar panels placement, there’s a proper way to do all of this!!!

I also incorporate the structured framework of Feng Shui, its rules, maps, and directional principle while continuously refining my understanding of spatial orientation and energy flow.

Together, these practices form the foundation of my holistic and personalized approach to transforming spaces.
