We were lucky to catch up with Dharmi Shah recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Dharmi, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
At one point, I knew exactly who I was and what I wanted in life. But then came the unexpected plot twists—the kind that shake your foundation and make you question everything you thought defined you. Through time, healing, and a whole lot of inner work, I found my way back to myself—not the version I used to be, but someone stronger, more grounded, and purpose-driven. As I kept showing up and doing the work, something even more powerful unfolded. I stepped into the role of a resilient entrepreneur and coach, realizing that my voice had the power to help others grow—both professionally and personally—so they too could create their own ripple effect. I discovered a deep sense of purpose, fueled by gratitude and the unshakable belief that my journey could light the way for others. That’s when the purpose came in: helping others find clarity, confidence, and fulfillment—professionally and personally—even in the middle of life’s chaos and career curveballs.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m an entrepreneur, author, coach, and speaker, passionate about using my voice and story to help others find purpose, peace, and the courage to grow—both personally and professionally. My work is deeply rooted in transformation, and what excites me most is the ripple effect it creates when someone hears my message and realizes they’re not alone in their journey. I’m constantly evolving in both my life and career, which keeps things fresh, aligned, and meaningful.
Currently, I’m building and running two brands simultaneously: The Corporate Experience, a relationship-driven marketing firm, and Refresh and Revitalize, a coaching brand focused on helping women reclaim their voice, rewrite their story, and step into their power. I love when these two worlds intersect—whether it’s creating experiential marketing events that uplift or professional and personal coaching.
In addition to my businesses, I serve on the board of a nonprofit and regularly volunteer my time to causes close to my heart. My professional journey continues to grow in exciting directions as I collaborate with like-minded individuals, launch new projects, and expand into new opportunities. Personally, I stay grounded by showing up every day with intention, curiosity, and compassion.
I’m currently working on multiple book projects that will be available soon through my website, and I encourage readers to follow along on social media for inspiration and announcements. I’m also always accessible—whether through email or the contact forms on my website—because real connection will always be at the heart of everything I do.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three things that have been most impactful in my journey are impact, relationships, and fearless courage. Creating impact has always been at the core of everything I do—whether it’s coaching women through life’s transitions, curating unforgettable brand experiences, or sharing my story from a stage. I’ve learned that impact isn’t always loud; sometimes it’s in the quiet moments, the one-on-one conversations, or simply showing up as your authentic self.
Relationships have been the fuel behind both of my brands—The Corporate Experience and Refresh and Revitalize. The connections I’ve built have opened doors, created collaborations, and sparked opportunities I couldn’t have predicted. Business aside, relationships have also kept me grounded during life’s messier chapters.
And then there’s fearless courage—the kind that shows up when everything feels uncertain. It’s what allowed me to let go of the life I thought I was supposed to hve, and create a new one that feels aligned and full of purpose. It’s also what continues to push me forward as I expand my work, write new books, and build platforms that help others rise.
For anyone early in their journey: Be bold in your vision and unafraid to start messy. Keep showing up. Take the scary leap. And always remember—your impact doesn’t have to look like any type of way, it just has to be real and authentic.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
People often ask me who my “ideal client” is—but the truth is, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all ideal. We’re all navigating different paths, challenges, and dreams. What matters most to me isn’t someone’s title, background, or business size—it’s their willingness to grow. If someone is ready to evolve, whether personally or professionally, and is open to finding real solutions along the way, then they’re exactly the kind of person I love working with. My work isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with clarity, courage, and confidence. Growth has no single look, and neither does my “ideal client.”
