Meet Diana Caicedo

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Diana Caicedo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Diana , so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

My optimism comes from my relationship with God. I think it is very important. You always see the positive side in all situations because life itself is not easy, but when you have God and a positive attitude, everything happens, even the things that seem bad leave you with a lesson and you continue to move forward through faith in your best friend. God

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am an actress and TV producer. Right now I am opening my TV production company here in Tampa. I am very excited because I feel that Tampa has a great audience and there are many opportunities. In the past I have worked in Film, TV, Reality shows, beauty pageants, among other things. I can also say that I found Tampa to be a wonderful place to live with my new family. I recently got married again and I feel that Tampa is an ideal place to open my company and live comfortably with my family.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Spirituality, study and perseverance. I believe that if you put the three together you will always have good results. The first keeps you connected with God, the second gives you knowledge and the third makes you achieve your dreams. Remember that persistence overcomes resistance, especially if you are in God’s hands.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

Trust, my parents were always very motivating in fulfilling my dreams. My father paid for all my studies and whims and my mother always accompanied me to all the castings etc. I think believing in your children and showing that trust was fundamental for me and that led me to success.
