Diana, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I developed my confidence and self-esteem during my time at UC Davis. Leaving my hometown to attend university allowed me to embrace my true self and explore new opportunities. It was there that I honed a variety of skills from effective communication to business acumen and learned how to navigate social interactions with authenticity. Being on my own pushed me to discover who I really was and to trust my own judgment about the future I wanted to create. Ultimately, I learned that believing in yourself and working hard are the keys to unlocking your potential.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Hi, I’m Diana Kimmay. An entrepreneur, influencer, and global traveler with over 580K followers on Instagram. I collaborate with creative brands and lead exciting ventures, including real estate projects around the world.

Currently, I’m partnering with multiple business leaders to invest in international real estate. We’re breaking ground on new builds from luxurious villas to upscale condos in major cities with ambitious plans for further expansion as our business grows.

What excites me most is the unique intersection of creativity and strategic investment, which has continually challenges and inspires me. I look forward to sharing more innovative projects and milestones as we shape the future of real estate and creative collaborations.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back on my journey, the three qualities that have been most impactful are strong entrepreneurial drive, effective communication, and passion. In order to be a successful entrepreneur, you need to be able to harness all three.

For those just starting out, here’s my advice:
•Develop Your Entrepreneurial Drive by setting clear, ambitious goals and don’t be afraid of failure. It’s all part of the learning process. Start surrounding yourself more with mentors and peers who challenge you to think bigger and push your boundaries.
•Hone Your Communication Skills: Practice is key. Actively seek out opportunities to communicate. Real world experiences will help you refine your skills and build confidence.
•Cultivate Passion: Follow what excites you. Let your curiosity drive you to explore new ideas and industries.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed, I take a moment to pause and focus on self care. As an entrepreneur, the pace can get intense, so I often step away to meditate, work out, or simply unwind on the beach. The time to recharge helps me regain clarity and maintain a calmer state of mind.
