Meet Diana Mayers

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Diana Mayers. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Diana, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

Finding my purpose has been a long and winding journey. For a big part of my life, I didn’t know what I truly wanted to do. At sixteen, I entered a law institute to pursue a higher education, following the advice of my parents. At that time, I had no clear vision for myself. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a model, but since my family didn’t support that idea, it slowly faded away. After five years of study, I successfully graduated with a law degree, but I never worked in that profession. I tried internships in different places, but none of them felt right for me.

Even before finishing the institute, I started working—first as a waitress, then as a bartender in a strip club. Eventually, I began dancing there and stayed for a while after graduation. Around that time, I remembered my childhood dream and enrolled in a modeling school in 2017. After graduation, I was offered a contract, but the conditions were terrible, so I refused and decided to pursue modeling independently. At first, most of my shoots were unpaid, but they gave me experience and helped me grow.

I left the club and spent years searching for myself. I tried many directions—starting a clothing brand, sewing, doing sales, even photography. Some things didn’t work out, others I simply didn’t enjoy. Eventually, life led me into the adult industry, which for a time seemed like the right choice. It even gave me opportunities to travel to Europe for shoots. But after moving to the United States, I decided to leave that industry behind and focus on building something different.

The U.S. gave me more freedom and opportunities, especially as a tattooed model—something that wasn’t really possible in Europe or Russia. Today I work as a model and also as a dancer, where I’ve developed strong pole-dancing skills. At the same time, I started my blog, where I share my experiences, and I discovered a love for writing. Now I’m working on my first book, because I believe my story—the struggles, the turns, and the persistence—can inspire others not to give up on themselves.

My path to modeling and writing wasn’t straight or easy. I’ve faced many obstacles, tried many things, failed, started again—but each step brought me closer to who I really am. That’s how I found my purpose: not in one moment, but through years of searching, falling, and rising again.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Right now, I am focused on building my career as a model, blogger, and emerging writer. Modeling has been a dream of mine since childhood, and today I’m grateful that I can fully embrace it. What excites me most about modeling is the freedom of creative expression—it allows me to transform, to tell stories through images, and to collaborate with creative people who share the same artistic vision. For me, modeling is not just about posing for a camera, it’s about embodying emotions and inspiring others through visuals.

Alongside modeling, I’ve also invested in my self-development by taking acting classes. They not only helped me grow personally but also strengthened my modeling by teaching me to express emotions more deeply, move more naturally, and bring authenticity into every project.

Another important part of my journey is my blog. Through it, I share my story—my challenges, travels, and personal growth. Writing has become a passion, and that’s why I’m currently working on my first book. For me, writing is a way to connect on a deeper level, beyond visuals, and I believe my story can encourage others who may feel lost to keep going and to find their own path.

What feels most special about my work is that it reflects my real journey. I didn’t take a straight or easy road; I tried many things, failed, started over—but every step shaped me into who I am now. My brand is about resilience, freedom, and authenticity. As I continue to grow as a model in Los Angeles, expand my collaborations, and work on my book, I want to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and never give up on themselves.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I would say the three qualities that shaped my journey the most were resilience, openness to change, and creativity.

Resilience was essential, because my path was not easy or straightforward. I faced many setbacks and moments of uncertainty, but learning to rise again and not give up kept me moving forward. My advice for others is to accept failure as part of the process. Don’t see it as the end—see it as feedback that helps you grow stronger.

Openness to change also played a huge role. I tried many different things in my life—law, hospitality, fashion design, photography, and more—before I found my true path. Each experience gave me new skills and clarity. My advice is to stay curious and not be afraid to start over. Every attempt, even if it doesn’t last, is a valuable lesson that can bring you closer to what you’re meant to do.

Finally, self-expression and creativity helped me discover my true calling. Whether through modeling, blogging, or writing, I found that sharing my story and emotions is what makes me feel alive. For anyone starting out, I would recommend exploring different forms of self-expression—whether it’s art, writing, or performance—and not being afraid to share your authentic voice with the world.

These three qualities combined are what allowed me to transform challenges into opportunities and to create a life that feels meaningful to me.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed, my best strategy is to step back and give myself space. I’ve always loved solitude and feel very comfortable being on my own. Since working with people constantly can be draining for me, I make it a priority to take breaks every couple of months. About every two or three months, I plan a trip to a place I’ve never been before. Traveling and exploring new places gives me fresh energy, new inspiration, and a sense of freedom.

This time away helps me reset mentally and emotionally, so that when I return, I feel motivated and productive again. My advice for others would be to listen to themselves and recognize what truly recharges them. For some people it may be time with friends, for others it could be solitude, nature, or travel. The important thing is to create regular rituals of rest that allow you to come back stronger.
