Meet Diangelo Romano

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Diangelo Romano a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Diangelo with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

Honestly, my work ethic came from my parents. Seeing my mom wake up everyday at 4am for years to take care of me and my brother really meant something to me. I thought to myself i’m so blessed to have a mother that takes care of us. There is no reason i’m not working my hardest to try and be great everyday !

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Im Diangelo, aka gelo.romano, i’m an inspiring personality on social media that wants to show people that you don’t need money to have a great life. Practicing gratitude and being patient has been my biggest lesson im working on this year. I think i want to reach everyone that is comparing themselves to others and send the message that everyone is at their own pace. I make my videos based on my passions which are fashion/fitness. It’s important to express yourself but also feel good in the body we were given. Im currently just building a community and want to connect with everyone who watches my content !

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

So far some qualities i think are impactful are ambition, discipline , and persistent. i think consistency was my biggest opponent at first when i started as well as what people would think about me. i tuned all the noise and did what i wanted to do which is POST . Everyone has there own lives to worry about so if you do what makes you happy you are bound to enjoy what god has given you !

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

I would say the people i keep around me ! My brother jimi pushes me to be better and persistent with anything i do in life. We really push each other to be better, and i don’t think i would be here without him. We constantly are thinking of ideas and thinking of ways to grow.
