Meet Diego Bonilla

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Diego Bonilla a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Diego, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

I keep my creativity alive by constantly looking at other creative work online or around me. I love seeing what other people can do, it just fuels me to keep getting better and try new things.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

As a dedicated professional in the fields of videography and photography, my primary focus is on continuously expanding my skills and expertise. I have had a passion for these creative disciplines from a young age, and I take great pleasure in capturing moments and documenting my surroundings, especially when exploring new places.

My long-term goal is to connect with like-minded creative professionals to build a collaborative team. Together, we aim to elevate our work, offering diverse services to individuals and businesses alike while striving to achieve new heights of success and innovation.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

My three most important qualities as a professional are determination, an innate curiosity to learn new techniques, and an openness to criticism.

My advice to those who are just starting is to have an open mind, listen to others who may know more that can teach you new ways, and just never stop learning.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I am always open to collaborating with others in the field who are already out there. Any professional photographer, videographer, and in general content creators. I feel it is always great to connect and see how we can work together to grow ourselves.
